Let's face it, farmers are in every MMO, you can't stop them, just like you can't stop people eating fatty cheeseburgers.

There one of the groups in a MMO: there's the group who wants to have fun and just play the game normally, there's people who want to PvP, there's people who want to RP, and there's people who want to farm.

I can see a lot of farmers and PLers packing their bags if this suggestion is implemented.

Just under 10 million is still expensive for me.

But anyway, thanks for the comments; I'm currently levelling up him farming pillboxes in RV. (but let's not discuss that, or it will turn into a flame war)

I did a LRSF a few months back with my 50 Ninja/FF MM, and IIRC we only had 2-3 corrupters.

It took a while but with some good tactics in the end we completed it.

No TF/SF is impossible, just need the right tools.

What you need to "tank" as a PB Dwarfie:

1. 3 Resistance SOs in White Dwarf
2. 3 Heal SOs and 3 Recharge SOs in Dwarf Heal.
3. One Acc SO, two Recharge SOs and one Endred SO in Dwarf Footstomp
4. Two Acc SOs, One Taunt Duration SO and One Recharge SO in Dwarf Taunt.

The first two help you survive, the last one helps you keep aggro, the third one does a little of both.

More Acc and Recharge/End in Stomp, and more Acc and Recharge in Taunt is better, but not needed.
Likewise, Hasten and Essence Boost are both very good but not needed.
If you suffer from low endurance, slot one EndRed SO plus two EndMod SOs in White Dwarf.

SOs are hardly "Expensive"...
All the expensive HOs or set IOs in my builds are frills and icing. The main stuff, the stuff that my PB depends upon to function and survive, comes down to boosting raw enhancement % numbers - even SOs can do that.

If you're willing to spend a little extra on your PB, you can free up enhancement slots by using set IOs - that's why you'll see many of my PB's powers "frankenslotted" with sets designed to free up as many slots as possible so that those slots can be used elsewhere in the build (multi-form PBs suffer seriously from a lack of slots).

(No doubt Shannon will chip in later on with a spiel about how a nice fluffy mindset is more important for tanking than slotting or power selection... but personally I'm more of the opinion that you need to have the right tools before you can learn how to use them properly! )

I wouldn't call Dark Astoria a waste of server space. It gives Adamastor somewhere to live, and it's beautifully atmospheric.

As far as power customisation goes, look to the upcoming Champions Online. If it's what you really desire, then you might want to try it when it comes into open beta. Or wait till it realases.

I've created the costume like the national flag, with red and blue and a crown - although the crown isn't exactly like the crown on the flag, it's similar.

Update! He's now level 41.

As for Starcrash, I have to agree. I stay in Dwarf far too much, in fact probably 90% of the time in a mission I'm in Dwarf form. In Squid or Human I'm still far too squishy.

And now Dwarf form attacks seem to be more powerful! There's even more reason to stay in Dwarf form. (although I'm not totally sure if the attacks have been buffed)

But one underlying problem is that Dwarf still can't tank. Might as well remove the taunt as I've never used and I haven't seen anyone else use it. It's far too big a risk of dying.

Think the DXP weekend will be a good chance to get my PB to 50. I'm free that weekend so I don't need to make any arrangements.

For my part I was thinking of a Love Story based on Beauty and the Beast where a young heroin has been kidnapped by Captain Mako and (shock horror) actually falls in love with him! Queue several missions of rescues, EB fights and even teaming with Mako himself to get her back (which will be extremely novel for a hero but not unheard of - after all they get to team with Arbiter Sands).

Dont know whether she will die at the end - most tragic love stories do but fairy stories they live happily ever after.... oh the possibilities!
