So.... as far as I can see they seem to be advertising Union pvp to their community which I guess is fine, more pvp the better, however....

It is frustrating when broadcast chat on your own server looks something like the quoted box here.

Any chance that we can have a French channel for those who don't speak english ??

It's the only thing I can think of at the moment because to be honest it's getting on my wick ! ! ! !

And if they are going to advertise it to all their French mates, tell them to respect the fact that Union is an English speaking server !

All the builds you are claiming were superior to all (lol perma-dom killing everything) don't even work out in the old system. There were a few exceptions such as m3z rolling people up, but most blasters could destroy a dom in a quick volley if they were skilled enough to press like 7 buttons.

The only real way of evading without hiber or phase atm is breaking LOS. If RV wasn't such a poorly designed zone it might actually be a viable option. RV for the most part is one big open zone. If you compare it to other zones that were actually designed for PvP like warburg, sirens call and even bloody bay, they all have buildings and other objects to break LOS throughout the map.

I've gotten rather annoyed with the various I just sold an enhancement for X amount of Influence, I can't believe some sucker actually bought it posts I see floating around the forum. I've lost count of the number of people celebrating in Global Channels for having sold a common salvage for a huge amount of cash.

The fact is, there's no bogeyman about it. The player market is in a state where the people who can afford to farm can afford to manipulate it.

Various solutions have been given, such as increasing the drop rate of enhancements, creating an event in Praetoria that awards a guaranteed purple, or lowering the prices on AE ticket to salvage conversions. I'm not saying any of these solutions is the right one... but I highly doubt that the the number crunchers on the developers staff are not keeping track of the market, and those who deliberately abuse the market, and more importantly... those who admit to abusing the market in game, and on the forums.
