I hate the French as much as the next person, don't get me wrong... But.
If they want to use Onion because of the PvP, RP, Catgirls etc then they can. They also have no obligation to use English.
Yes Defiant and Onion are "English" servers but that just means the localisation, not what should be spoken.
I'm sure they have got their own channel but that will never stop broadcast lol. Besides, i have fun "translating" what they say

It's never bothered me particularly if French / Italian / Spanish pops up in a chat box. Even if it's in Team Chat I usually say "Guys, I've no idea what you are saying" and leave it at that. Anything important / directed at the team as a whole will then usually come in English, anything remaining in the foreign language I assume isn't relevant to me (or is them pointing out what a n00b I am, either is fine).
In Broadcast it worries me even less, I've no beef with the French, even if they did knock us out of the World cup (actually I'm happy about that, no inane WC songs, no incessent drunken WC antics for 3 weeks over the summer. Thank you Mr Henry) and then cream our poor Rugby team into a fine paste last week (gotta admire class).
It's good if all PvPers transfer to one server, good for everyone. Union should be the European Union Server imo.

And finally, if I am aware of an evening PvP on Vigi, under power what form it is clear that I am and I will not be the only" So.... as far as I can see they seem to be advertising Union pvp to their community which I guess is fine, more pvp the better, however.... It is frustrating when broadcast chat on your own server looks something like the quoted box here. Any chance that we can have a French channel for those who don't speak english ?? It's the only thing I can think of at the moment because to be honest it's getting on my wick ! ! ! ! And if they are going to advertise it to all their French mates, tell them to respect the fact that Union is an English speaking server ! |

Think I saw a spanish channel, so there might already be a french one up and running also.
As Carni, I myself have no problems with folks talking in a language I don't understand, as long as they don't expect a reply from me. If they want to use french, german, spanish, italian or even simlish it's fine by me.
A tip: you can say Mille Sabord and/or Tonnerre de Brest to the frenchies, that will most likely get you a laugh and some friendly replies.

J'ai migré une partie de mes persos PvP sur union pour suivre mes potes, et d'ailleurs j'ai été un peu l'irréductible gaulois de la bande, le dernier à passer de l'autre coté de la Manche.
Mais franchement, à un moment j'en ai eu marre d'attendre seul à VdR que quelqu'un vienne PvP, j'en ai eu marre de proposer quasiment tous les soirs des matchs sur le canal arène avec comme seule réponse un grand silence alors que pendant ce temps là, le reste de la Brigade s'éclate sur Union à PvP "en masse" (tous les soirs on peut se retrouver à 6vs6 voire plus) en zone ou en arène...
Mais comme je suis un incorrigible optimiste (ou pas), je continue à commencer mes soirées de jeu par une connexion sur Vigi, à VdR, pour constater que je suis seul en zone.
Alors oui si on reste tous sur Vigilance ça fera d'avantage de monde, mais perso je joue à peu près 2h par jour, parfois moins, et je paye 13 par mois. Et c'est surement pas pour poireauter dans une zone vide, mais pour m'amuser et trouver un peu de "compétition". C'est peut-être égoïste ou autre, mais tant pis j'assume
La (peut-être) bonne nouvelle, c'est que le 28 février les transferts de serveur redeviendront payants, et que (peut-être) pas mal de persos ainsi que les joueurs qui vont avec vont réintégrer leur serveur d'origine.
Et pour finir, si je suis au courant d'une soirée PvP sur Vigi, sous nimporte quelle forme, il est clair que j'en suis et que je serai pas le seul
