The many times I've run into that issue I inevitably pondered which character I could delete on the server I play on in order to make room for a new idea.

Quote:If we're gonna go that far with it, I'd have to add "posting on these message boards." I waste more hours here than I do playing the game.Playing CoH.
It's fun and there's absolutely nothing rewarding about it from a real world perspective. It's a complete waste of time. -
Quote:It makes a noise? I haven't noticed. What I hate about this change is the NOISE.
Mystic Fortune makes a repeating, annoying noise every 3-5 seconds for TWENTY MINUTES and there is nothing I can do about it if I want to keep my sound on.. which I do.
I barely notice the buff at all, really. Is the one that boosts movement speed even as much as Swift? I haven't seen a significant speed increase from it.
But I'm certainly glad to be rid of the constant pop-up for the inconsequential buffage. -
If I get what the OP is saying, he's talking about expanding the Primary and Secondary power sets in a similar fashion to how the Ancillary power pools were expanded.
I'm not sure there's a lot of room for such expansion in the sets, but it might be nice to have alternatives to powers like, say, Dark Pit. -
I like taking my level 50 FF Defender into Atlas or the Hollows and repelling enemies off into the horizon with Force Bubble, or popping them with my KB-slotted Force Bolt.
I used to love leading a Perez Park parade with my tanker (and stumbling onto other people leading such parades as a lowbie always amused me), but alas that's no longer possible. -
As of this post I had 162. I've been up to six hundred and some points, and for one sweet moment I dipped barely below zero and tasted sweet, sweet red.

This made me do a doubletake today when I hit 20 on a Mastermind I had just recently created in preperation for crossing over when GR hits. What's more is that it reminded me that I hadn't touched my Soldier of Arachnos in ages, so I logged into it and had a blast getting it from 27 to 30. Most fun I've had playing Redside in a long time. Thanks, oddly-placed-unlock-message!

Boxing is apparently using the same animation as Jab, which got an alternate animation. Kick doesn't seem particularly short, either. The real problem, I'd say, is that they haven't been able to make pool powers customisable at all yet. I believe many people have expressed desires to change colours on travel powers, among other things.

I never cared for the ragdoll physics. If anything, it seemed to increase the problems with enemies getting stuck in walls and such.

I don't know if this is caused by the recent patch that:
Quote:However, while I was doing missions on a team today where I was slightly lower than the team leader and thus "sidekicked" or whatever it's called villain-side, whenever I would gain a level and catch up to the team's level (thus losing my virtual sidekick level as I got there for real) my henchmen would all die. Quite a shock when you're standing amidst more than a large group of Mooks. Especially when you had *just* resummoned them and now have to wait for them to recharge.Fixed a bug that allowed Masterminds in some missions to Malefactor down and retain high level pets. Now pets will be lost whenever the combat level of the Mastermind's team decreases. This also resolves the issue of retaining 2 or 3 tier 1 pets while Malefactored down to the point where the Mastermind can only summon 1 pet. -

Quote:Have you considered /Dark?I'm torn between /Storm and /Trick Arrow at the moment as I prefer debuffing to buffing sets (no /rad thanks, already have one of those) and would like to find pros and cons between both secondaries.
EDIT: I bet you would if they got it. ::slaps self:: -
Oh, good, for a second I thought that limitation had got patched away and I missed it.

Set bonuses all come from IO Enhancement sets. You can read about those at paragonwiki, as posted above. You can also download Mids' Hero Designer from www.cohplanner.com to help you plan character builds including IO sets.

I'd go with the Blaster, or even a Defender before I'd go with a Controller for soloing. Or I'd wait for Going Rogue and start a Dominator in the mirrorverse to avoid redside.
There is no AT that is more tedious to solo, in general, than the Controller, IMO. -
I like Physical Perfection, I don't like Conserve Power, and I can six-slot FA for a decent Defense bonus. So, yes, I'd take it sometimes.
However, that doesn't change the fact that I think it's endurance cost is a bit much for what it offers.

Quote:When a billionaire tells a millionaire that the millionaire doesn't have "a lot" of money, the billionaire has (perhaps understandably) lost all perspective on what "a lot" is to most people.I fail to see why you think you have "alot"... because I easily have double that in both my bases storage... and on my 50s that farm and the ones collecting dust that I just have stuff sitting on...
Plus I have a zillion purples built in my main base that I am saving for when I actually start playing the game again. -
I'm not at home to pop that gobbledygook into Mids, but it's generally a good idea to pop an End Reducer into most attacks. Especially if you're using Hasten.
Also, if you're running Sprint, Ninja Run, or a travel ability while fighting it can cause a significant drain.
