Epics unlock at 20 now instead of 50. You get the message every time a character dings 20.

You always used to get that every time you hit 50 since that was the "unlock" level for Kelds/SOA. It didn't matter if you were hitting your first 50 or the 15th, it still always gave the "Epic AT unlocked". Now that they've moved the unlock requirement to 20 you'll see that every time you hit 20.
The fact that they unlock at 20 is another story altogether. Good, Bad or Indifferent that's what we have now. I'll confess to skepticism myself since they are considerably more complex to play and build.

Ahh that makes sense. Well; okay; it doesn't make sence, Khelds were cooler when you had to get to 50 to play as them but yeah; I understand now. Guess I missed that update. Thanks everyone!
This made me do a doubletake today when I hit 20 on a Mastermind I had just recently created in preperation for crossing over when GR hits. What's more is that it reminded me that I hadn't touched my Soldier of Arachnos in ages, so I logged into it and had a blast getting it from 27 to 30. Most fun I've had playing Redside in a long time. Thanks, oddly-placed-unlock-message!

I was playing as my PB the other night; (At about 2 am) and I dinged to 20. During the level up messages; after "Level up" flashed across the screen; something else flashed; it said "New Epic Archtype Unlocked" Was I too tired to read correctly? I checked the archtypes; and still only PB and WS were there. So I don't know what that means; anyone know anything about it?
