  1. Ugh God let me rephrase this stalker are the best at mayhem mishes at low levels. Even on teams they are the best low lvls (lvl 25 and below). If you guys want to get technical a MM can do anything better than any other AT. Also Traps is godly so yeah no fair lol. This is a stalker thread not a MM thread we're supposed to uplift new peeps and make them want to play stalkers not MM's or Corrs!

Also Stalkers to me are much more fun them MM's I have yet to be able to lvl a MM past 15 w/o wanting to kill myself...but that's me.

How do you calculate starting every fight with a dead foe or a built up crit? It'll certainly look different than averaging in BU's +dmg and base crit chances into a linear dps stat.
Beat me to it! My Stalker can at many times make me think LOLSCRAPPERS! Plus you can stealth a crazy diff mish and if all else fails you can take the aggro for the team....and who can do mayhem mishes better than a stalker? No one!

It does remind me of a mish last night in the Hellforge filled with Slag Piles. Myself and a corrupter were catching up to the team when we got jumped by an ambush / hidden bunch. Of course I jump in and try and attract their attention (come here nice and close so I can Spin and Eviserate ye to death). He quickly dies though and I'm just about to do the same when he shouts out "Quick! Use my corpse as a shield!". Of course I died, but I died chuckling

There's nothing wrong with scrapperlocking because you think you're a big can o' awesome, even if you do die spectacularly in the attempt. But if you do it repeatedly over and over again though then you may have a problem.

Ah Mirelock. Even deadlier than Scrapperlock since it taunts you into dropping into your Squishy form just to trigger or benefit from it. Sticking my "Damage Buff" onto the Combat Monitor was probably the worst thing my WS could ever had done. "Oooh, look at the big number. Time for Nova Form."

Um...sure we'll agree to disagree. I've had scrapperlock before due to someone missing a glowie only to find out baddies are hiding behind it but every time that I scrapperlocked it was accidental...or I had to join in scrapperlock w/ someone b/c they're about to get a full face of concrete pie.

I play mostly RED SIDE very much! I also lost my V to COV and NOT COH first might I mind you! I only play blue side if one of my global buds needs help.

I have one but I just got to 38...shockwave seems dissapointing...I know this is post nerf but does it get better with shockwave? I was looking at the mids for numbers for shockwave...and it didn't look so hot.
  5. Hoe do you keep your fluffies alive? Some times even when I taunt my fluffies take more aggro than me!
  6. Sometimes we all have our reason for Scrapperlock.

1.A Mob everyone missed that you found
2.A Stalker who has to do the bank mish for the entire team b/c everyone like usual underestimates Longbow
3.Saving a downed team member when no one else has the jeuvos to do it ect.

But please PLEASE don't scrapperlock just b/c you think you're a big ol' can of awesome. Contribute to the team help out everyone so we all don't have to lug over the otherside of the map and try to give you a wakie while not getting owned by a pissed off mob. If the leader or some team members are playing like arsehats then get off the team or voice your opinion.
  7. Yes it turned into a ice/ice brute thread! LOL I am still rooting for that port to redside!

Anywho I hate to say it but Ice Control is in many ways better than Grav but Grav to me feels safer. Maybe b/c Singy can tank like no ones business. Don't get me wrong I love Jack he does some crazy dmg and CAN tank but he has a glass jaw and...I would rather have Venus Fly Trap instead of him...and that's saying somethin' LOL.
  8. I would skip Flash before I would skip Spectral Terror.
  9. Actually Ignite would be sexy!
  10. Issue 12 doesn't feel that long ago to me either lol. I always thought they were awesome but I am into the Goth Scene so it makes perfect sense.

Indeed I echo what you say tenfold! I'm as well mainly a CoV Player and this toon has me so addicted I am saying lately..."red side wut?" I tried an AR/Traps on Red side and it felt nowhere near the same.
  12. I think in General Rad and Dark Buffers are happy b/c it's a bit less demanding than Kin and Emp. I know if I play aKin or emp after an hour or two I feel like I just ran a marathon.

I rarely fight anything under +2s so if there is a KB issue with Tremor I haven't seen it due to the level difference. I'll check it out and post what I get, but as I recall both pretty much keep the goons where you want them.

Seismic Smash is a single target big hit with a hold.
Ah ok, I think in the past I tried to do that combo but since I started my toon during the AE saga I gave up due to never getting on teams. I wouldn't mind actually making a Stone/Fire brute first instead of a Tank.

Depending on the situation you may want to mix the order up a bit, but basically it's all good once you get the goons bouncing.
Hrmm i know fault does knockdown...I thought Tremor does knockback? or am I wrong? IF so then I might make a Fire/Earth as well.

Maybe you meant Seismic Smash...Ugh Fault is a weird one...I have it on a toon but I rem it did mostly knockdown...and out of the whole bunch only 1 or two would fly back...am i wrong on this?

Thats nice of him . . . . . giving a pre warning to the kicking? Even if i had been lft ALL day and this was the first team i had been invited to, i wouldve just left automatically. Sure hes the leader and in theory gets to decide what happens, but if he has restrictions on team members then he should be the ones sending tells asking for your powers before inviting.

Tenner says you would have been a better tank than the tank himself.
Heh, I prob would of left to...actually I would be a $#@% about it and wait till things get real hot then just quit lol.

I have to agree with Marrow...I think the saving grace is my dmg aura and Frozen aura are are slotted for taunt as well as others. Usually with IP, Burn, dmg aura and FA you are just DESRTOYING mobs but the catch again is you need to herd. Great Tank solo though.
  17. Heh, I rem I was on a team with a NRGY Blaster and I haf my Ill/Kin...the team was more mad at him than me but guess who saved the team when we had a surprise Ambush...Both of us of course haha.
  18. So well put together Carnifax! I'm giving you a little point for that post alone! You guys are making me want to make another Grav toon again...I dunno can I do making a Grav/kin broke me it's been over a year since I have made another Gravity toon. I do miss my Singy though...hrmmm.
  19. I would Imagine to be an awesome combo. I know My Earth/Thorn is loads of fun I imagine Fire would be even more awesome in the dmg factor and less on the control factor an Earth Dom does....I have to agree with the others pair up with a Good Brute b/c /Thorn anything can aggro like no other...seriously I have out Tanked a Tank on blue side before lol.
  20. I have no problem with an all healing Corruptor as long as he backs of his claim and heals like crazy! I made a all healing/buffing defender and the only reason why I wasn't kicked for not attacking much b/c I was spot on with the heals and buffs even had vengance and auto :P.

I love it when a splash some blue side mentality hits redside and vice versa. IT makes the team seem "Balanced".
  21. Phantom Army is a beautiful thing...My Ill/Kin would Tank if the tanker hit the pavement and if things got sour...I need to play him actually.
  22. Go Grav/Kin like I did if you want to go insane . Like stubbing your toe several times in a row I tell you. I still love my Grav/kin though.
  23. Skip it if you must but all that AOE makes me feel sexy : 3.
