How many pets can you get up and running?

I took a screenshot of "Worst Warshade Ever" teaming up with some of my coalition mates recently (using the "fear" build I posted about in another thread), and managed to catch a shot of 4 pets up at once...

Fun times....

On a team of me and 7 Fire/Rad's I managed 6 for a short time if I remember correctly. But I didn't know about the pet window thing back then sadly, or screenshots lol.

Edit: Love that screenie by the way, so many blue numbers in the combat attributes!

In that screenshot, look at the top border of his team window. There's a little button called "Pets". Clicking that opens the pet window. You might not have that button visible on your team window, though. If not, open your options window and look for a setting that enables that button. I can't remember exactly which menu it's under or exactly what it's called, though, sorry.

If I'm quick on the trigger I can get 4 pets out for about 10-15 seconds. I want to team with a couple kins at some point and roll in human full-time just to see how many I can get.

Edit: How sad is it that I know EXACTLY where that screenshot location is on that Battle Maiden map?

Double edit: Without looking at the map, that is.

Debt barely slows down levelling these days. It's just a little bar that measures how much Awesome you've generated recently. (If you're not getting debt, you're just not trying to generate Awesome hard enough.) -Kelenar

So far my WS build isn't finished but with hasten running i'm able to get 3 up and running at once,4 if I get help from something like SB or AM.

On a side note how did you get the "stat" window to pop up like that. The one where it lists the res/rech bonuses you have.

Hoe do you keep your fluffies alive? Some times even when I taunt my fluffies take more aggro than me!

On your power tray, there is a button named "powers." Click that. You will see a list of all your current powers. At the top of that window, you'll see a little button called "Combat Attributes." Click that. That will show you a complete list of every current attribute your toon has in real-time. You can right-click on any of these attributes and choose to display them at all times (up to 10 at once).

My key is to stay ahead of my fluffy aggro. My fluffies have really long range, so having super speed and getting in a group to hit Eclipse/Sunless Mire before my fluffies have a chance to fire their first shot does a LOT to gain most of the aggro. Also, when I'm on my "presence pool" WS, I watch the "outer fringe" aggro very closely, and if I see one or two guys run off to attack one of my fluffies, I will immediately target them and hit Provoke. That usually gets them to immediately turn around and start running back to me.

When I'm on VestigeOne, everyone dies quicker than the amount of time it takes most enemies (over my aggro limit) to run over to my fluffies and kill them.

Yeah. He's that fast. :P

My method is drop into groups from above by deactivating Nova form while directly above groups, then hitting Eclipse/Mires. Eclipse pulls a fair amount of aggro, then Mires pull some more. Fluffies drop down to just above melee range (assuming no flying enemies) and pull a little bit of aggro off me. That helps keep me alive (tho staying alive isn't generally a problem), the lower damage, mostly-ranged attacks that get aimed at fluffies help keep them alive, and I am then able to mow enemies down before fluffies get too damaged. If fluffies drop too low and start getting pummeled with melee attacks they will faceplant pretty quickly, so the method is hardly foolproof.

YMMV, tho.

At recharge cap you can have four out briefly. Those of you saying you've had six out are either misremembering or experiencing a glitch. Absolute lowest recharge possible is 48 seconds, with a 200 second duration; before your first one dies you can get four like that.

As to keeping them alive, provoke is probably the best tool available.

I can have three out with good overlap under my own power (181.25% global recharge constantly, assuming I remember to drop out of a form to let Hasten fire as soon as it recharges).
