I was actually wishing I could roll a Mu while playing tonight. 
I wonder why you need/want to be all bound up like a mummy when you're Mu-ing. Must be a reason for it. Maybe insulation from the lightning?
Mu wrappings are perfect for those cold, rainy Rogue Island nights! Also, its the wrappings save space in already cramped bases. Instead of needing a bunk, a Mu Adept might simply be hung from the rafters by his straps.
My memory is a bit rusty, but I seem to recall that the Mu bindings are to deny the self. Or the physical self which in Mu teachings is inferior or unclean.
actually i thought of this some time before, and thought about its build. its sort of like a khieldans build only instead of shape shifting you hover or fly.
eg: lvl 6 AT specific primary power: mu flight, you hover with whatever wraps they were on their legs. you have access to 4 powers each draining your enemies End greatly, while boosting your own. they dont do much damage.
the lvl 20 power (mu version of dwarf) would give you fury, and 5 more attacks.
bad or good?
It would really only be the wrappings that would set them apart from any other AT. Now that Corruptors and Dominators have Electric you could probably make a fairly decent Mu. Particularly if they add an Electric Control for Doms. Heck, you could probably make a Mu Brute or Stalker, or even a Blaster with Going Rogue.
You could "fake" one, but the constantly flying, that would obviously take something more.
Dunno about being a Mu.. But I would like the outfit.
And then picking some other class with electric powers.
Roll an Elec/Storm Corr, take only Gale and O2 Boost from your secondary, take fly, IO build for Energy/N Energy defense, and take the Mu PPP.

yes I do wish I could be a MU, I think theyre cool and tought o fight and would love to play one.
Though the comment posed about the difficulty going to the bathroom could be a concern. I sure hope they have a trap door built into the back of that crazy wrap-up dealy they got goin on.

Issue 12 doesn't feel that long ago to me either lol. I always thought they were awesome but I am into the Goth Scene so it makes perfect sense.
