It's about that time, the last thing I upgraded was the video card which was a couple years ago. My budget is 300-500 dollars, and I have a 9800gt sitting around the house. I don't really have any preferences to any brands for anything (not tech savy at all) I just want to run on High-Ultra well. I can run on Performance-Recommended right now with some lag. I'm struggling to come up with a build That is Softcapped to everything, while still having decent recharge. The build below is 46/46/44 for M/R/A which being a little under on AoE is fine for me, but only 58% recharge. Seems like that'd be ok for StJ but I'd want Shield Charge to come back a little faster.
Also on iAbilities. I'm thinking Cardiac or Spiritual. Will I still have end problems if I went Spiritual/Body? Right now I'm on SOs with PP 3 slotted with Stam as well, With T3 Cardiac and it's still a small endurance fight but wasn't sure if that's because of SOs or what. Anyway, any improvements or comments will be greatly appreciated!

Thats actually the chain I run on live BrandX lol. Still on an SO build so there are some pauses of course but, that just seemed like the most logical one. Well, substituting in SC for SS.

Used Giant's build as template for this, 1% away for the AoE softcap, decent recharge, decent end use. Shouldn't be crazy expensive at all. Any ideas?

Topic pretty much states the question. I'm curious which Epic would be a better choice?
Ice can get me to 35% S/L defense pretty easy, Sleet, Ice Storm, & Hoarfrost to fall back on.
Fire is harder to get 35% Ranged defense while keeping good recharge & not breaking the bank. But get Fireball & RoF which get the full 30s effect of Embrace of Fire.
I know Sleet + Ice Storm is no where near as good as Fireball + RoF with EoF going but should that still be really good AoE with Roots, & procced out Creepers ?
Anything I miss? please give some input on this. Thanks in advance! -
Finally got my Time IO'd and did some missions. I changed up & just went with the Lockdown set, with Tj as well, it keeps everything clumped together nice & tight. Only "need" it when you're solo though.

How's this?
Softcapped to Melee & Ranged, AoE is at 38% (I don't mind being under on AoE)
Hasten & Chrono are both 3 seconds from perma which is kinda eh but I can deal with it.
Still have my Travels, (consider those a must have)
Swapped from Power to Soul
And is still pretty much within the price range. Any sticking points?

I threw the Purple, Ghost Widow, and another Psi one to test if I would like it or not, with just those 3 it seemed like at least one proc went off almost everytime it pulsed? (Like 5-8 seconds?) What I plan to do is 6 slot it with nothing but procs, Lockdown, Purple proc, 2 Psi, Glad Net (maybe, this one is pricey) & The slow set proc. Since I'm Rad/ primary, everything won't die in my first volley of AoEs so All the procs will have chances to go off.

Having a hard time figuring out how to build it. Going for M/R/A softcap, while getting perma Hasten/Chrono. I'm .5% short on the AoE softcap, and some seconds off on the Hasten & Chrono. Any help?

I'm actually enjoying my Rad/Time. I'm 50 but just on SOs with a Miracle IO in health. The damage does feel a little low sometimes, but when Mid's comes out I'm gonna see if I can build for a little +Def then +Dmg & Recharge, and see where it stands then. Hoping a procc'd out N Bolt With a better slotted Cosmic Burst will help.
Power
Total focus, and at the amount of recharge you'll have, it won't take forever to recharge. It can also stack with Cosmic Burst to stun Bosses, and maybe EBs if you can get another CB in, haven't tried it yet. A shame is doesn't Scourge though, Isn't every other ATs inherit effect APP/PPPs? Anyway.
Temp Invul, it can stack with your Tough/Weave combo, and with Cardiac you get around 55% S/L Res, it's came in pretty handy since I'm a little lower on the survival scale without IOs, with them, it should be even better.
Power Build Up, Makes your Farsight give you around 20% defense, With Weave & Combat Jumping I'm at 30% Defense to all On SOs, so it'll be pretty easy to softcap whichever Positions/Type you want. It provides a 68% +dmg bonus and around a 10% tohit bonus for about 12 seconds. Bad thing is though is its recharge, 240s so it can only really be used in unison to Farsight, so you can't always utilize it's +Dmg when you'd want to.
Force of Nature, Pretty nice I'd have to say, the one time I ran the Underground Trial, (failed at the end) it kept me alive for a good while, Caps S/L Res and gives you around 45% to everything else. And some +recov, still debating on if I want this or Conserve Power. -
Yes because of the resistance in the shield, it can't be effected by PB

I have a limited amount of experience with a Rad/Time Cor but I'll offer some insight.
1) You're correct about slotting for recharge bonuses, I'll be shooting for Perma Hasten/Chrono
2)But I'll be slotting for more defense than recov, mostly because I'll be going Cardiac, which leaves a lot of room for +defense bonuses. It's up in the air if i'll go M/R/AoE or S/L/E, gonna have to wait for the new Mid's to see.
3) Those are the 3 powers I skipped, and on just SOs I didn't miss them. Once you proc out NB you should be fine.
4) I'm having the same issue with choosing between Fighting & Burnout/Spring Attack. Guess that's just gonna have to be something you play around with in Mid's to see.
5) I'm going Power hands down, PBU, Temp Invul to stack with tough (as a defender Temp Invul + Tough + Cardiac caps you to S/L, keep that in mind) and Total Focus to stack with Cosmic Burst, as well as giving you some nice burst options? No contest for me here. -
Stone Invul Or WP. Elec if you got the money, Ice as a secondary.

Won't be as great for Big Game hunting because the -regen is so low, unless Evenom stacks on itself.
