Staff Fighting... When? A lot of us where looking for staff fighting with the release of issue 22, but the devs obviously decided not to release it with 22. Anyone know when?

As much as I miss my daily COV I will say this, I have been playing since the start and I can not remember ever being down this long. One day is seven years is not bad by any standards. I doubt many others can make the same boast.
I have seen some reset their servers to the "pre-crash" and fix the real issue later. But that may not be possible here. -
The placate proc is awesome in PVP. Even a few seconds of re-targeting can mean a lot sometimes.
I find it mostly useless in pve. -
I have met a few friends in real life. In fact, I keep three of them in my freezer in my garage. You should come by and meet them some time.
-
Hot Feet.. Grab it. It is very nice. It is not only good damage for an aura damage power, but it slows the enemy to keep them under control easier and also makes some minions run away from you in slow motion - hence damage mitigation.
I run up to a mob, flash fire, hit fiery embrace, jump in the middle, hot feet goes to work, hit combustion, then fireball, mob dead (minus bosses that I clean up). All this with 3 ticks of hotfeet that helps as discribed above. -
I am probably an aoe damage *****, so I like duel pistal or archery/kin, for the FS - then open up aoe hell on them

Is it too late for me to take credit for suggesting and getting capes? If it is too late for that, can I get credit for jet packs? Something????
-
Definately my fort. He is the most fun all round toon for me and a legend in my own mind.
-
I would have to say that any trio will work well. Will some work better than others, sure. But play what is fun for you and you will enjoy it more.
I do suggest at least one of you pick up a brute or scrapper (or even a tank). -
I tried for 3 days with different credit cards. I finally set up a pal-pal account and it went through right away.

There are some out there, so never fear.
If you want regular mission farm for fire on red side, run the "demon farm". It is a bunch of fire throwing possessed cot in the ship. You can do that one fine. I think this is Vernon Von XXX, but I can not remember off top of my head. It is a level 50 arc, so you can find it on paragon wiki.
AE has several all fire damage missions, if you wanted to farm tickets or XP. -
I think it is worth mentioning that redraw is way more noticiable for me in PVP than PVE. In PVP every second counts, and a redraw can feel like watching grass grow.

I would first ask, how experienced in MMOs is your friend. An experienced player of other MMOs who understands the basics of ATs and primary roles, then I would say start a defender or corrupter for learning the game. If they are new to MMOs and AT sytle toons, then a scrapper /WP scrapper is a good start, maybe even a SS/WP brute, so they can concentrate on the actual game dynamics and not just trying to survive long enough to see what the enemy is doing.
-
Stealth IO can not go into swift, so swift is the one you will need to slot with it for a NR toon.
-
My suggestion... run a few missions to build up some camaraderie with the players on the team. Then tell them you are wanting to find more regular players to team with, and send Global Invites.
We have global friends that will do a mission or two then duck out afk for a few hours and then come back. Just let them know if you can not start a tf or if you have limited time. Doing paper or radio missions should not matter and its all good. -
I like Scirocco personnally the best. Most AV's than the others. I usually do Mako or GW if it is just to get the powers unloaked.
I can't believe no one mentioned that on top of the badge, you get a free respec while do this. That is awesome. -
Most importantly for a KM scrapper is that the Tier 9 attack does not get a chance to crit, instead you get a chance to auto recharge siphon power. That means you want to use it a lot to take advantage of this auto recharge. Once I found this out on my scrapper and changed my playstyle up a bit, I noticed a big difference.
-
I also noticed that FE does not show up on the +Dmg I monitor from the combat atributes if that is where you are looking. But I do see the difference on screen with dmg above the enemies head.
-
Bad idea. Then I would have to change my Statesman bedsheets and pillow cases.
-
Dude, brute SS/WP. That is awesome on training wheels.
-
Or... someone hacked your account and was playing around, or moving to sale your stuff or move to the respec guy to strip things for his use, when you logged back in, hence logging him out and, bam! there you are. Not likely, but could happen.
-
I also highly recommend downloading Mid's Hero Designer. You can play with the builds, look at the numbers, and get a real feel for the toons.
-
Well, I will tell you my experience. I have a elec/kin/mu corr. I can jump into a mob of even level and hit power sink then short circuit and drain the entire mob. Keeping their end down with ball lightning and another short circuit if necessary.
Problem is you will need a brute or tank to hold aggro. You will piss a lot of them off, and no matter what you do, they will get a few shots off. Maybe not enough to kill you right away but a few. I will usually hit my heal after my cycle for good measure.
Now if you take on +2, you will not completely drain them all and boy will they be pissed at you. -
Maybe just my poor perception, but I felt that at low level my scrapper felt like it was dishing out more damamge than my brute at the same low level. So much so, that I stopped leveling the brute in the teens and ran the scrapper all the way to 50 and still love to play him over most of my other brutes that I have had for a while.
