Actually it might be because she's Asian.
Whenever I shave, people in my class mistake my for my late teens, my dad, were it not for his salt and pepper hair, is sometimes mistake to be in his forties or thirties, my sister is easily mistaken for teenager despite being older than me.
A dentist's assistant who used to work at my, well, dentist's office looked to be in her early twenties when she was only a few years younger than my parents.
Heck, my grandfather is in his 90s and still looks the same as he did twenty years ago, so this should tell you something.
It tells me I wish I could exchange my genes' preponderance for diabetes in for the fountain of youth that my half brothers and sister received from their Thai mother. They look fabulous, and she looks young enough to be my sister. The first time I met her I was 17 and she was 45 and looked to be my age with the body of a supermodel. Now she's in her late 60s and finally looks the age she was then. It can't be just diet because I'm the only one in the family that will eat her native recipe cooking.

    Anyway, back to the point....

The interview was hilarious, and I so agree with the 'your pet was accepted'. Can you say "INCARNATE", because the pet and that nuke of hers.... definitely. Lorewise it would also fill the no-incarnate gap in the FP now that Statesman is gone.
  2. Because it is an exclusive item.

It was sold as part of the Collector's Edition. Take the exclusive out of the collector's edition and everyone who bought it wasted their money and will feel gypped. Without the exclusive items it was overpriced at retail and on resale markets simply outrageous. I have a friend who paid $100 for hers.

    It should stay exclusive.

Which is why the phrase "Supergamble packs" is far from the mark. That's like calling a variety pack of beer a "Superalcoholism pack," when I'm not an alcoholic. (I love it when Blue Moon has their seasonal variety packs.)

What you should really be talking about is Supergamblers who might buy lots of Super Packs. But if every vendor stopped selling anything that might be indulged in by people with sensitive psychologies, the world would be short on all kinds of goodies.

Don't demonize a great product because some people have personal demons.
Bad analogy. A variety beer pack is no random.

I bought 72 packs and am pleased, but do not even want the wolf pet. A kitten pet.... yes.

    Subjective Feedback:

The volume is too loud. The sounds so grating and disgusting I refuse to play the set and would rather not team with anyone who does. It gives me a headache.

I dislike sonic for the same reasons, but to a lesser extent. I can bear to team with a sonic.
  5. I don't get it. If you go in a pvp area expect to die.

We've had that pounded into our heads since day one. If I'm there to get exp badges, if you're there to get shivans, if Suzy is there to gank newbies, or Joe-Bob is there to afk bot farm through an exploit.... we should all expect to die and have the stones not to whine about it when it does.

    Just saying.

This. I read everything, still botched, and got the debuff.

If you're on Liberty you might not want to rely on my defender to heal you until the damn thing wears off. I'll take her running tips or work on crafting for awhile I guess.

I would never play empathy again either...I discovered I am not a buffer...I like to hurt baddies...
I haven't tried him as an incarnate. I quit playing him about 2 years ago. It's possible that I didn't understand it well enough to get the best out of the set. I just know that everything ran fine until I started doing ITFs and then self rez didn't recharge fast enough.
  9. Weird. I was able to dismiss an uncompletable valentine tip.
  10. ...if you got a new computer for Ultramode.

...if you quit smoking because it cut into your COH time (no smoking in the house)

...if the idea of a computer meltdown worries you more than your car being stolen

...if you put a petbed next to your monitor so your kitties could watch you play

...if you got your extended family to play so you can spend more time together (including your elderly mother)

...if you keep better track of the game than your bills

...if you'd rather play COH than do anything else

    WHERE!? I simply MUST know!

  12. ...if you've ever attempted to hit "F" to autofollow on the freeway and realized your steering wheel isn't equipped for it.

...if you and your husband celebrate your anniversary by playing COH.

...if you'd rather have Paragon Points instead of roses for Valentines Day.

...if you've ever answered "no" to a "Would you like to go out for dinner" because you realized that you'd get onto COH faster if you just simply cooked because the drive time totally skews the time.

...if you've ever turned down a real life party for a COH party.

...if you've ever dreamed you were one of your characters.

...if you think of yourself by your global as much as your real name.

...if your real life friends you've known for longer than the game is out call you by your global name.

...if your HUSBAND of almost 17 years calls you by your global name.

Yes, all of these things have happened.

  14. Saturdays my friends and family SG do regular teaming on Liberty. Currently we are running through the Striga arcs at level 21.

    Life on Exalted?

Yep. Lots of long time players have made characters here. It's a chance to hang with people you know from the forums but always played on other servers.

    <.<

Like me. There is definitely RP here, you just have to find it.

Well, wonder if I start a different thread for a different theme?

    Fire/rad was done last year.

All kin team was done ...sort of, but fizzled out in the 30's.

I was gonna do a regen brute team, but after all the clicking on my scrapper I decided against it.
@Torment and Agony is doing MM Mondays...
    @karmaa is doing Scrapper Saturdays....
@Tax E is doing the Tanker Tuesdays...

As much as I'd love to do an all blaster team, it would taper off in the early teens with no heals or status protection.

However, given that corruptors have a nice damage cap of 210% at level 1, which rises up to 500% at level 50, I think a fire/kin team would be a lot of fun.

And, heck, we'll let the controllers come along as well.

    Questions? Comments? Derogatory remarks?
I <3 Controllers, haven't really tried a corrupter that got past level 6 yet. I'm game as long as I can at least use SOs, willing to play anything but a Stalker.
  17. I'll check with my husband as to our availability. I'd love to go, we both play.

  18. I could almost do this, but the part that gives me the heebie jeebies is not being able to buy regular enhancements. I've thought about it since we discussed it and tried to wrap my brain around it as 'fun'.

I remember playing my first character and being chronically unable to afford SOs and living off a combination of drops and as much SOs as I could afford, which wasn't much until the 30s. I don't think I could do that again and not even be able to buy SOs.

Living off the money a character makes and only using recipes that drop or you buy with merits I could do. Not being able to buy SOs even though I earned the money fair and square seems too much like work, and not the pleasant kind of work, more like the scrubbing urine of the mens room floor with a scrub brush, ammonia, and my bare hands (yes I had to do that when I was in the military).

I have a level 43 defender I've been doing the 'live off your own funds' and drops on because I've never cared enough to slot her. I got on her recently and realized, hey, I've never worked on her build. She's still fun, but without basic SOs she wouldn't be.
  19. Regen

I enjoyed it until I hit 50 and teaming with it. ITFs taught me the meaning of 'faceplant' more than playing any of my blasters ever did.
  20. Why are people anti-stun towards Energy Melee? I like it. I just don't get it.
  21. A

It seems to me the curvature at the bottom of the neck would clip less. Otherwise I've no preference.
  22. B

A looks a lot like an existing jetpack.
    C looks like very Freudian.
