Quote:I'll still watch it.I will watch it just to see what completely over-the-top action sequence they throw in. You know they are going to want to top the "Jumping off a bridge onto the wing of an F-18 Fighter" or whatever that ridiculousness was in DH4, so I'll be interested to see what they do this time.
Maybe have him lasso a SAM missle in flight, climb up the rope and rip out the guidence system, then drop onto the hood of a Volkswagon and use it to surf down a lava flow. -
I like to play Trick Arrow because there's little an enemy or teammate can do to throw me off my game.
I like teaming with Empaths. Adrenaline Boost: it's that fantastic. -
I mostly blame the wide array of ranged AoE burn/hold patches that d-bag seems to love spamming. He's meant to be that tough. I love the Trick arrow set, which is why this is my second go 'round with it, he's just not a squishy friendly enemy.

Having just finished this mission on my 28 Nin/TA, I can only agree this boss sucks. Levelled up to 28 just before facing him. 4 deaths, 2 trays of purples, and in the end had about 5 health when my third or fourth wave of Genin dropped him. I swear, at one point I think he took me down with one shot.
Fun times. Watching myself and all my minions taken out in a couple shots by an EB reminds me why my MM's rarely make it too high in level. That, and raging altoholism. -
Another underrated set would be Ice Melee for tankers. It seems to still have the 'crap damage' stigma from before it was buffed. Not top end, but the set does well.

Dual Emp/Sonic defenders gets thrown around alot for this sort of thing.

Freya, who was apparently allergic to shirts.

I'd throw Trick Arrow in there. It does a lot of things well, but doesn't really do any of those things better than other sets. Oil Slick Arrow is phenomenal and the set as a whole is busy in a fun way. But since you don't heal, you'll be yet another unappreciated support type.
With Energy Melee, it isn't the crap AoE that bugs me. I just wish I had another ST attack early. Maybe swap Energy Transfer with an earlier power (20 or 28?). As is on my tanker, it just feels slow and plodding, which sucks because I love that tanker. -
I'll still watch it.
While the subject presents itself, has anyone read the Die Hard: Year One comic? Been wondering if it's worth picking up. -
I would love a Thermal/ defender.
That is all. -
I liked it, particularly casting 'that guy' and 'hey, that other guy' as Goggles and Hicks. And next week's episode looks promising.

Quote:Appropriate to this line of thought, but definitely NSFW...The old "this is my dad and his brothers ..why are you running away?" treatment.
Buy her a nerf sword and let her LARP to her heart's content? Just don't be disappointed when 'hit [monster] in the face' is the some of her early involvement. -
I really liked my Trick Arrow/Archery defender for both soloing and teaming. No teammate focused powers, so you can take full advantage of TA while solo, and while teamed you can focus on debuffs, not some panicky blaster screaming for heals. Not exactly uber, or overstated though, so you will get no recognition for your contribution to the team. Just the way I like it.
I've been considering trying my hand at an Archery/Trick Arrow corruptor, but I've been enjoying a Ninja/Trick Arrow mm lately. -
All 5 of the trailers I saw in and around the Super Bowl broadcast made me excited for this summer's crop of movies: Thor, Captain America, Transformers 3, Cowboys and Aliens, and Fast Five.
Movies lately have just been lacking that flair. -

So they need to be gone on Sunday and they're just breaching now? Can't say I like the logistics of it, but we'll see what comes of it. -
And people say there are no original ideas in 'Hollywood' anymore.

Awesome. One of my favourite 'young' actors. Looking forward to seeing this movie, now just have to wait for it to get here.

Pfft... it's not cold 'til the thermometer bottoms out. Heck, they only go to like -60 C or something.
That's because snow emits a special radiation that affects only the 'driving' part of the brain.
