  2. He's probably pissed off at the studio for that lame-*** promotional shot.
  3. Huh... I think I'll be skipping this movie.

Ehh... not really much of a re-roller. Like I said, the powers he has now already work decently for the concept.
  5. Alas, I already rolled a time traveller character about a year or so ago using Gravity and Kinetics (which surprisingly works rather believably). Perhaps I'll use this new Time Manipulation set for his Praetorian counterpart (which won't necessarily be a different version of him, but instead rather a potential colleague).

I've already seen this NOW and you're concerned about it happening in the future?

Yeah, because frankly... the Zig's led to far too many "beats me up in the future" moments.

BTW, do you think the next EATS could be DE (magic origin) and Imperial Forces (tech origin)?
That's a few extra decades of unchecked evolution for you.

No, that's the Hellfire Whip but just colored very brightly.

Its possible Silas is tricking them somehow, using his knowledge of the far future to convince each one that Ouro is dedicated to stopping what they consider to be the worst disaster possible.

What if Lazarus thinks the Coming Storm involves the Shivans, Twilight's Son thinks it involves the destruction of the Kheldians (possibly by the Battalion) etc... Each mender thinks they know what The Coming Storm is but each one's idea is different (and unrelated).
I will point out that the Shivans are described as scouts for whoever's going to be attacking. Also, in Twilight's Son's task, the McGuffin you retrieve from the Rikti is some manner of astronomical data. I hope I don't need to tell you that Shivans are from space, being born from Meteorite fragments and all and astronomy is the study of the stars. So these two tasks are clearly connected.

I'm not sure how the 5th Column base intel and the events of your tutorial mission being changed fit in though.
  13. Riiiiight, like I'd really want to limit myself like that. I'm staying VIP until they shut down the servers. Why? I like Masterminds and Controllers way too much.
  14. What the hell happened to those Seers?

Yep. Ouroboros, Pilgrim arc, task given by Mender Silos/Future Nemesis; Shivans arrive from a meteorite bombardment as SCOUTS for whoever the Coming Storm is.

  21. For what it's worth, though... I agree with you, OP.

    Coming Storm?

That doesn't exactly mean that the Battalion can't show up eventually, considering the Incarnate system uses invention mechanics. They could be a group that can be designed around truly challenging Incarnate powers.

  24. Unbreakable at #4? Really? While it was a decent film, I wasn't that impressed with it, especially when that was when everything started going down hill for Shyamalan. I'd flip #4 and #10 at the very least.
