When it comes to /dark, my only advice is take Howling Twilight early and build as much -rech for it - It is by far the jewel in Dark's arsenal. Also slot for -tohit (fearsome stare/darkest night/dark servant) as this will basically act as/add to your defence bonuses.
If you can get a decent amount of recharge (circa 80% without hasten), you can get tar patch to double stack by only 2 slotting it with rech IOs. Then it will be just a case of keeping those pets in check and spamming twilight grasp for the aoe heals. (slot it for accuracy, recharge and healing)
That's my advice for Dark - I haven't taken the demon set to it's full potential so couldn't give you any proper advice on that I'm afraid.
EDIT: Just had a tinker with Mids and came up with this build:

Not played KM set myself, but if I were to build a WP/KM tank I'd probably start off aiming for something like this:

Quote:Only APPs.Darkest Night and Soul Tentable? Since VEATs have acces to PPP?
I'm more in favour of Gloom and Dark Obliteration for my NW - Gloom is quite nice for those occasional runners (along with Poison Dart) and DO works really well with Void Judgement and Spin as a nice AoE collective -
Scene - A: t3
Misscene - A: t3 / I: t2 / J: t2 / D: t1
Scenity - A: unlocked only
Scenata - A: t1 -
I was experiencing mission entrance doors not shutting on an ITF yesterday, so I couldn't enter the missions without having to relog. It would be nice if entrances were clickable when doors were in the open position.
-
personally I find soloing x4 - x8 radio/tip/rwz/paper missions can yield a steady flow of purples.
-
My characters are usually created after playing around with various Mids build ideas - sometimes tweaking other players builds. Hardest part is trying to then design a costume and come up with a name for the build.
-
there is a way to appear as if self-targeted - ie: bounding box and name appearing above character - had it recently when teaming up for an ITF. It doesn't mean the character is targeted though
-
This has been my experience of playing CoX recently
-
-
going back to the Regenerative Tissue proc point, it would be more advantageous planting it into Fast Healing and then placing the Numina Heal into Health - you will end up with about 18% more regen over all
-
bot/dark mm
there I said it, and I'd say it again if I had too -
Quote:Indeed there were quite a lot of "Sci-tech" things going on in The Prisoner, but to classify as Sci-Fi, would also suggest that The Man from U.N.C.L.E and all the James Bond movies were too IMHO.Probably because CCTV surveillance wasn't widespread yet in the UK when The Prisoner first ran.
Then there's "Rover", a bubble like sentry that rises from the ocean and captures those trying to escape.
The high tech infrastructure that's hidden under the guise of a low tech town. -
No Stargate SG-1
No The Pretender
No Blake's 7
No thanks! -
Pet AI in general has more or less put my MM on a shelf. It is the only toon I end up shouting at after 5mins of game play.
-
correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're referring to a Bot/Dark Tankermind setup, using Provoke from the presence pool?
From a personal view, there's quite a bit that could be changed in your build.
1. Fitness Pool is now inherent - swift, health & stamina can be replaced for other power choices.
2. Teleport could do with dropping at least 2 slots
3. Petrifying Gaze - (imo) is overslotted as well - probably remove 3-4 slots
4. Howling Twilight - should be taken as early as possible, and slotted more for recharge, you want it up as often as possible
5. Fearsome Stare - good slotting
6. Dark Servant - slot for accurate -tohit imo
7. Twilight Grasp - could drop the last slot, but otherwise good choice
8. Protector Bots - Really need 2 Def IOs in to boost their Bubbles (11.18% per bubble with the IOs in)
9. Shadowfall - Some people like to mix and match resistance and defence from what I've seen here on the forums, but personally I stick with a defence set - Red Fortune is good for the Endurance cost
10. Global recharge - I would look at trying to get more sets in that add to this (where finances can afford it) - I would also look into the leadership power pool as this will not only grant you 2 extra recharge capable powers, but will also benefit your pets a lot
Here is my Bot/Dark build as a reference:
