Sharkshead Isle, unplayable lag

Forgot to mention, I'm on Virtue. I'm basically stuck til this is fixed.
Sharkhead is apparently badly bugged because this same error is happening to me as well. I'm constantly mapservering to the point that I can't really move, I'm stuck in the hospital at the moment. This is not occurring on any of my other characters, only the villain in Sharkhead.
Virtue server, 6:09 central time.
This happened to me as well tonight. I was there to collect badges, but it was such a pain, I just waited it out as much as I could to call up my Ouro portal, and zoned out.
Confirmed. Happening to me and everyone else on the Help channel as well. Sharkhead on Virtue is possessed by a mapserv demon.
Also getting this on Sharkhead Isle; Mapserv message every five or so seconds. Circa 8:48 am EDT. Virtue server.

That's an understatement. I've seen this problem a few times over the past years and it was in Sharkhead every single time. Maybe it happens in other zones, but I've never had it happen to me anywhere else. I wonder if something specific to the zone has a small chance of borking the entire zone.

It's not just Virtue either, it happens on Freedom's Sharkhead with some regularity. The hamster powering Sharkhead really needs to be replaced for good.
Best bet is to Ouroboros portal out, or if that isn't an option Pocket D teleporter or similar.

It's been a sporadic problem in the zone for years. Magic 8-Ball says "outlook poor". And no, I'm not being completely facetious - best bet is to log in and hope for the best. If you wait for them to fix it, you're likely to be waiting a long time...

This is the first time I've had any lag issues with the game, and was even playing in this same zone just hours earlier, but right now Sharkshead Isle os lagging so badly every 5 seconds or so the mapserver message appears and you get rubber banded back.
