  1. Definitely Cardiac for most of my characters. Hopefully it'll mean moving some slots from places like Health and Stamina and putting them elsewhere.
  2. Voted for Polar Boy. Hopefully it will lead to a wholesale takeover of the Legion by the Subs.

There's your problem. The solution is to quit the team and form your own.
  4. Three good players, playing characters they like.

I took Munitions Mastery with my Arch/Dev Blaster (yes, I was the one). Suddenly, I had a spiffy new assault rifle I could customize at the tailor.

Allow pool/EPP customization as characters advance and take the powers. If the character no longer has the pool due to a respec, remove that power customization option from the UI.
  6. I'm in.

    Briquette, Level 50 Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster.
  7. Body Mastery is the name of an EPP.

Perhaps this should be called "Chi Manipulation" to put it in line with the other Blaster secondary sets.

Overall it looks OK, but I doubt mez protection would be allowed. I think this is probably more plausible:

    1. Thunder Kick
    2. Storm Kick
    3. "Old" Cobra Strike (100% stun chance, minor damage)
    4. Focus Chi
    5. Crane Kick
    6. Some sort of endurance buffing power
    7. High Pain Tolerance
    8. "Trained Body"
    9. Dragon's Tail
  8. Er... huh. I'd imagine DC/WB will be looking at this with great interest.

I quit the team, clicked the door and immediately had costume after costume. So this cannot be WAI but it's too late for them to hunt it down now I'm sure. So best advice is solo TOT in level appropriate zones.
At least until you get that first costume drop. Then you should be able to team away in that costume, get tips, and still get progress on your costume drop badges, even if the temp power itself doesn't drop.

    Futher corraboration.

Last night I played a level 40, SK'd to a level 50. ToT'd in Peregrine Island for over an hour, never got a costume drop (though I did get progression on my Clothes Horse bar).

I asked for the star, and we ToT'd, again in Peregrine Island, only this time at level 40. Got a costume to drop almost immediately.

    This is BROKEN

[QUOTE=Dollymistress;3274208][QUOTE] Not relevent. New players cannot create heroes and villains and so cannot go thru their tutorials until after they have gone thru Praetoria. At that point the ability to team in the tutorial is moot.
    Quote:

Wait...what? Since when can new players not make Hero and Villain characters? I made a villain a few days ago.

Can players who start with buying GR seriously not make real Heroes/Villains? Are they forced to play via Praetoria? If so, that's wacky.
New accounts started with the purchase of Going Rogue are locked into making a Praetorian for their first character. Characters after the first can be heroes or villains, IIC.

No biggie, hope everything's OK at home, Vix.
  13. Crazy Quilt. Somehow Nolan would make it work.
  14. At the very least, I think they need to spruce up the level 2-15 content for both blue- and red-side. I've had friends that have come onboard with Going Rogue, fall in love with the mission content, then make a new hero or villain and... *splat*.

Well, we only know of three, out of a presumably infinite number of Earths. I'm sure on most Earths, Marcus Cole was just some guy.

Actually, on most Earths, human life probably never evolved. But we're not that interested in those.

All my combat hoverers will be getting Combat Jumping with Issue 19. Uses hardly any endurance, and can mule a LotG or -KB global, which means that frees up a slot in Hover for flight speed (or an extra LotG).

If you want to do this, you'll need to stop XP so you don't outlevel content.

Also, upping the difficulty will make it so you level up even faster, so it wouldn't help you finish contacts.

Finally, it was announced at NYCC that they were going to add difficulty sliders in Praetoria with Issue 19.

    Blue COP 10/17

    Rosa Quartz, Stone/Mace Tank.
  19. Doh, sorry I forgot. Glad the trial was a success.
  20. I'll be there with Molm Reindar, Claws/Regen Stalker.

    COP again...

Looks like I'm OK for tonight.

I'll show with Rosa Quartz (Stone/Mace Tank), but can switch to Briquette (Fire/Fire Blaster), Pale Devil (Dark/Regen Scrapper), or Kaytoo Six (Dark/Rad Defender) if you need something else.
  22. Yes. Most recent was last week. A friend needed to get a VG invite for an alt and I didn't have a villain on that server. So I cranked up the character creator, grabbed the "Mad Scientist" generic costume and when I got to the ID screen I threw down "Science Mule" in the name field.

I loaded up Mercy Island, got the invite, and then invite my friend's alt. And he said "that's a great name, you should do something with it". I deleted the character, but I've since made a new Science Mule, and I'm working on a backstory.

I used to agree with this. Then I re-read them a few years ago. Time has done that story no favors.

    Win/win.

And yeah... it'd be great if a few of those special edition tweaks can be re-tweaked... but... we'll see (I doubt it).

Back when they first mentioned this... We started wondering what scene you'd most like to see in 3D.

A New Hope's trench run could be fun.
Of course, the opening space scene in Revenge Of The Sith was already dizzying... that could be fun.
And, while it isn't that long, the space battles in Return Of The Jedi should be a lot of fun.

    It's just a goof.
    Not sacrilege

To quote Stripes... "Lighten up, Frances"
Yeah, really. I hate 3D, so I won't go see this, but if people want to pay to go see the movies again in 3D, more power to them. It doesn't hurt me in any way.
