People use grenades?

I have a Beam/Time guy called Pocket Watch. I like him a lot but ive been finding that in teams, beam rifle is just too damn slow.

By the time ive got disintergration off, the mobs already dead most times, and I certainly dont have time to spread the disintergration to the rest of the mob. If I concentrate of just doing damage instead of disintergrating them, it takes ages for the animation to kick off. With Cutting beam, he seems to wait for a few seconds before shooting and sweeping with the gun and the other cone takes ages for the charge to build up. Overcharge is ok, and blasts the whole group, as are the regular blasts but they still dont compaire to the speed of other toons that kill most of the mob before I make a contribution.

I tend to focus on using my timey wimey powers and the first two blasts, but I dont feel im using the foundation of the toon, the disintergration mechanic.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know if the devs plan on speeding this set up? I would personally like to see them removing disintergration and allowing all attacks a chance of causing it. Stick a build up in there instead.

Hadnt thought of snipes. Yeah I tend to skip them until I get to the point where I just need to pick a power as ive run out of valid options.

I have absolutely no interest in Pvp and no desire to see more of it in game.

I realise that this topic is probably open to much debate as different people play differently and enjoy some powers that others dont, but I was wondering if there are any powers that are more common to miss out when creating a build than others?

I find that powers like Black Hole, Sonic Cage and Detention field are skipped, as they usually end up hindering a team more than helping, same goes for any aoe knockback powers. Aoe sleep tends not to be very helpful, especially in teams or with other aoe's where damage happens constantly. I skip over the scrappers provoke, as I think thats the tanks job, then I pick them off from behind.

Missing out certain powers allows for more slotting potential in powers, and more utility powers like TP, Heals and Tough/weave. I seem to be taking all my powers as a Mace/Shield Tank, and I feel a bit laden down with powers.

so....What powers do you see as easily skipped in any powerset?

I've had to stop playing redside because it is almost impossible to get a team, powerleveling or otherwise. Theres no interest in anyone joining a team and the LFG feature just doesnt seem to work. I can be on the LFG queue for hours and not get one SF going!

Id love to have Scirocco's stuff in my wardrobe!

You forgot one on my favorite groups, the Wailers! I think their supposed to be magical, gremlin type things.

You also forgot DE and Coralax, but I think their Natural/Science/Mutant anyway.

Im sure Noble has more important things to do these days, but I would like to see...

Nope, such an idea would get no money out of me. I never summon the pets anyway, as they are mostly useless, boring and annoying. Even the pets that do help you in some way, die so quickly that I dont bother with them either.

Seriously, someone...ANYONE...needs to shut that damn umbra dog up!

Ive noticed a few bugs of late.

Pet AI is still screwed to buggery. My pets will either have epileptic fits, be totally uncontrollable, or just stand there scratching their butts.

Toons have started to do a leg sweep attack when getting the Mystic Fortune Buff

When completing an iTrial, the navigation bar containing the exit button vanishes. When its brought back, the Exit button is missing meaning that I have to quit the league to leave the mission.

Drop rates whilst using the Windfall power seem to be less than you would get without it. There have been occasions where I havent received any drops for 3 to 4 missions whilst using windfall.

Several costumes have clipping issues.

The navigation bar points to a completely different location than the actual highlighed mission.

PLEASE concentrate on fixing the bugs rather than popping out vanity pets, converters and catalysts every 2 seconds!

If Tyrant can fiddle about with the dead, Maybe we'll be up against him, Statesman, Sister P, Antimatter, Diabolique, Bobcat, Nuron, Malaise, Maelstrom all all the other things that we've killed...sorry 'arrested', during this whole arc.

Looking at the quality of the lions as a vanity pet, I have to say im happy to have the lionesses. The Companion lion pets are badly made, look like they have two rolls of fat either side of their head, their manes look like stuck on bits of cardboard and their tails just dont look right. They also have no tounges and their paws look deformed.

Dont get me wrong! I dont play my emp defender as a pure healer, but thats what hes slotted towards. When no ones hurt and all buffed up, I blast with my -Def slotted radiation blasts and use my Holds from the Psi APP to keep mobs away from the squishy members of the team. Im not a dedicated healer and will happily blast away when needed, just dont expect me to be able to bring anything down quickly.

Im just feeling a little less busy of late.

Id go for some major fixing of a lot of flawed and broken things before anything else thats new.

Especially when you have to do that level 10 'Tour the AE' mission in order to get the damn guy off of your 'active' contacts list!

I never liked AE to start with, but if you introduce a game element like it into a game, make sure its up to date and decent!

'Telepathists' in the TPN Trial. Its Telepaths!

1 Im guessing either Honouree, Scirocco or someone entirely new. The team seem to lack a tank now. However, with the possible destruction of Praetoria on the cards, we could save a couple of heroes from that world. Dezzy would be the obvious choice there. Since the world has a deep history, its possible that one of the old heroes might come back from the dead, such as Atlas or Minotaur.

2 Im hoping that there will be a dramtic increase in the lesser groups making a push for a place in the new scheme of things. With Mrs. recluse back in the frame, its possible that Arachnos will make a diviation in their usual tactics. With Battle Maidens help, Malta will probably start up bigger operations, and Marshal Blitz was rescued by an unknown group which will probably show their hands soon.

3 I dont think that they will touch the Darrin Wade angle for a little while. They'll wait an issue or two before he comes back and I think they'll take their Rularuu angle alongside the revamp of the Shadow Shard.

4. I dont know enough about Aurora to know what plans Aurora II might have. She seemed a little unhinged so what ever she does will be chaotic and big!

5 I think Mantibore will most likely turn rogue instead of villain in a misguided sense of justice and revenge. Im hoping that Scirocco will turn Vigilante too.

I tend to max out which ever one I get the drops for. but most of my guys only go up to teir 3. Cant be **** with all that tier 4 rubbish.

Whilst all of my characters fit into the lore of the game (some heavily some not so heavily) there are a couple that live in their own worlds and Paragon is just an illusion.

Medicat for instance is from the Thundercats lore, but is currently in a radation induced coma. Paragon city is just his brain trying to heal the damage (think Life on Mars).

Dwarf From the North is a fat computer analyst from Newcastle but after playing a famous fantasy MMO for 7days straight without sleep his mind became so warped that, not only did he belive himself to be a dwarf mage but the entire world seemed to be an MMO to him. So although Paragon is real to him, he sees it as a game, including health bars and mana potions.

I can see some of my characters going shopping or out on the town, where as some live off the land and are self sufficent. While I can imagine my Natural characters having Military training, I have difficulty figuring out exactly what an aspect of grey is, or how I can have 5 telescopic lenses. I tend to just ignore that part.

I tend to change my costume to something suitable for my day job (all my toons have a 'Day Job' costume) and tend to use the 'walk' ability when the situation demands it (such as walking in the press conferance in SSA7, cant run about the place!)
