OK, here's a question for you..
I think it is a legit question in a hybrid model and considering what the devs said about how resource intensive the pets are.
Man there is something that is sticking in my crawl that just irks me something fierce. However, if I was new to the game sure I would think is would be ok to do the invention license deal with a limit of 2 total.
Being here since I8 working years to get my cool vet pet army that disappeared close to right after I got my second pet, I am just sick to the stomach about so no I would not pay a penny.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
Nope, such an idea would get no money out of me. I never summon the pets anyway, as they are mostly useless, boring and annoying. Even the pets that do help you in some way, die so quickly that I dont bother with them either.
Rockshock (Druid Tanker), Medicat (Combat Medic), Dwarf From the North (Ice Mage), Rocket Gal (Energy Blaster), Graveborn (Undead Mastermind), Streeker (Punching Speedster), Op. Sidewinder (Recluse's pet Spider)
I'd spend points for the ability to desummon other's pets.
I wouldn't pay to be able to have more pets out.
I do think they should change the coding to allow 1 combat pet and 1 non-combat pet at the same time.
I asked at the first Pummit if they would reconsider making that change after seeing how the new limit affected server load and they said they would be willing to look at it.
I plan to ask at the upcoming Pummit if they did look at how server load was affected and if they have actually reconsidered allowing one combat and one non-combat pet out at the same time.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
No, I would not pay for a leash license.
I wouldn't mind paying for some pet repellent though!
Personally, no. Honestly, most of the time I forget I have them. (Mostly vet pets.)
I wouldn't be against it being in the store for others if they would, though, and it were technically feasable.
(I do see their argument, honestly, if MMs and Controllers were put into "pay" for their pets... imagine a /dark MM with six pets, possibly seven (more with things like Gang War or Living Hellfire,) fluffy from Dark Miasma, and then - if they'd snagged all the pets - the buff pet, a vet pet, the Vanguard MVAS pet, the leprechaun, a liger, a lion, a german shepherd and the superpet dog. I certainly wouldn't want to *follow* that. Then have more than one with all that out....)
I don't know if I would or not.. kinda on the fence.
Not in the "Absolutely not" camp 'cause I do miss having pets out some times. I have 'em after all, I would like to actually see 'em out with me..
On the flip side, I don't know if I'd be tempted to spend for the right to do so..

Would you spend cash or paragon points on a leash license ?
To elaborate, and setting aside "we shouldn't have to", we've heard numerous times on the discouraging and frustrating aspect of the limitation that we can have only one pet ( vanity / vet / buff ) out at a time.
If the tech were possible, the question at hand is would you PAY to be able to have multiple pets out at a time ? And if so, how much ?
Would you pay for one more ? Up to a set limit, say 5 ? Maybe one of each type ? Or if you did pay would you expect to have unlimited unleashment of your entire menagerie ?
