No I do not want to charge MMs. Personally I really don't care about this idea one way or the other, but the idea of being able to higher mercenaries, thugs or backup by the mission would provide an Inf sink which I have heard some players saying the Dev's advocate.

For a rough example, Player Xero wants to do a mission arc by himself but needs help, he could have the option of hiring backup for 50,000 each (Just picked a number out of the air) to help complete the toughest stage. Or maybe even to fill out a team for a TF. Xero burns inf and gets to solo the arc or TF. . . I am completely ok with that, wouldn't use it myself, just too poor, but I would not object to someone having the option to.

Edit: Some people simply are not team players, either too shy or burned too often to trust strangers.
  2. Their are some folks who keep saying that the Dev's are looking for Inf sinks. Seems like this could be a good one!

Looks really cool though so I wouldn't mind alternate animations for sets like /Rad or /Kin that use a more Magic inspired artwork.
Perhaps it could have a more generic name to suit other origins? Maybe something like Sorcery / Psionics / Force Manipulation. . .

Absolutely, it's one of the better features from Praetoria that should be implemented game wide. (That and yellow Mobs/NPCs!)
  5. I would rather see the Correction Facility/Behavioral Adjustment Facility turned into a free for all PvP zone without any alignment restrictions at all. Loyalist vs Resistance or Loyalist vs Loyalist or Resistance vs Resistance. An absolute total free for all. That should satisfy all the PvP-ers out there! It would provide something completely unique to the entire game system as well as letting those who have to have PvP satisfy their gluttonistic destructive urges on each other.

    Ultimate Respecs

I like the idea of being able to reboot hopeless toons without having to start from the beginning and loosing all the badges, influence and prestige.

    Sorcery Set

It's a very cool idea, but like Memphis_Bill also noted, I don't think tying yourself down to staying in the circle just wouldn't work so well in a movement based game. Still though, I love the concept, perhaps the "circle" wouldn't have to be stationary, maybe could be like an aura that moves with the Sorcerer in the center!

Love to see what you come up with for #4-8!
  8. I like this idea, it takes things a step beyond coalition but on the individual level. Additionally it might be a potential way for Rogues and Vigilantes to access bases in both realms. . .
  9. I would much rather see a new PvP zone in Praetoria than to allow it in the main zones.
  10. Perhaps it's cheesy, and it's been brought up before, but I still think it would be a lot of fun to have a Pro-Wrestling style set of powers for Scrappers, Tankers, Brutes and even Dominators. And the ultimate, a Mastermind "Manager" set with a "Stable" of Pro-Wrestler pets. . .

You might even be able to squeeze Stalkers in there too. Imagine a DDT Assassin Strike!

Animations would probably be difficult so I doubt we would ever see it, but it would be a hell of a lot of fun to choke slam, pile drive, super kick ect. . .

Maybe they could have done it this way to provide a bit of "realistic randomness" to it: Keep the 5/day limit but change the hardwired "need 10 to get a morality mission" requirement into a variable chance that improves after each Tip mission you do. What I mean by this is that after you do one normal Tip mission you might get a morality Tip on the very next drop but it'd be like a 1:1000 chance. After a 2nd normal Tip mission you might get a morality Tip for the 3rd drop but it'd be like a 1:500 chance and so on. By the time you've (unluckily) had to do 10 normal Tip missions your chance to get a morality Tip for the 11th drop would default to 100%.

This might be more trouble than it's worth but would reflect a better "real world" situation of never knowing where Tips might lead you.
In my opinion, this is the best suggestion on this subject so far! Good call! Just make it a straight 10% chance increase per Tip completed so that it is guaranteed by the 10th Tip mission completion. I would still drop any limit on Tips per day though.

Also on this subject (to cross threads a bit), I would love to see the tips dropped by random people walking by, newsies, cops, thugs, generic civilians or maybe even rescued victims. There could be a brief statement in passing: "Hey (you), I heard that (So in So) is in (that place) doing (that thing you don't like)." Then the tip appears in your contacts. . .

I wouldn't care if they broke into the same components or random, lesser ones from that which they were built. <Snip!>. . . .
Agreed, as long as they were "Salvageable" for something. . .
  13. I would really love to have the costumes last longer than the event. Say maybe that each costume has a two or three hour game time limit!
  14. I have a level 50 Ninja MM and I have never really liked the Oni in terms of fitting the theme. As was mentioned early in the thread, I love the idea of replacing the Oni with a Stalker type, it just seems so much more appropriate.
  15. From my point of view it is very annoying, being in a close space where it seems everyone is constantly buffing or foot stomping, ect, with all the visuals and associated noises.
  16. De-crafting would rock! Our bins always end up full of stuff like crafted taunt and fear enhancements that very few toons in the group can use. . .
  17. I love it that fitness becomes inherent! For so many of my toons (But not all) fitness is required for just Stamina. This will certainly frees things up for more offensive or secondary powers at lower levels. No way that I can complain about that!
  18. Not being able to complete a mission cause the target is stuck in a wall (And no one had teleport enemy) really sucks. Auto killing unattackables would be enough to satisfy me.
  19. I can neither confirm nor deny that allegation. . . .

Seriously, it doesn't do anything for me, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

Thank you, I did not know that! My concern was spawned by last winters market cornering attempts on Champion in which certain items were artificially shortened by profit takers. My fear was that if cross server trade were allowed to happen it could get even worse. . .

If it has been around since I9 though then I guess it is not too likely to be an issue after all.
  22. Like many players, I take a lot of joy in costume creation. I really dislike having to remove older costumes to make new ones. For me, extra costume slots would be a wonderful addition to the game. At the very least add one more at level 50!
  23. I like this idea on the surface, C.O.D. email trading makes good sense. I am not too liking of the possibility of cross server trade though.
