I usually rest between the Green and Yellow line by tp'ing to the top of the zone, and letting my character drop before my next tp, instead of tp'ing repeatedly.

Quote:Now if my zombies would quit playing musical elevators. I'll hop in one, on occasion, they follow, then I'll watch one of them run across the hall and jump into another elevator.
When I zone they also like to become NPC's. -.-
And Colleen Saramargo, Jake Montoya, Maggie Greene, and Wyatt Anderson will give you the mission with the 'box of parts' called "Get a sample of the Clockwork piston."
Hello?
*taps screen*
Is this thing working?
-
Quote:Which still doesn't work for all of us. -.-First thing I suggest is making sure your email account isn't blocking emails from newsletters@ncsoft.com.
If you aren't then log onto your account as http://www.plaync.com, go to your Account profile and update your Contact Information. The Newsletter opt in/out is there.
I'll get everything else from NCSoft, responses for /bug, /petitions, account updates. But never a newsletter, I've even opted out and back in. nada. -
I had played my MM for a while and saw this on my MM last night. Zoned from Cap Au to Port Oaks, and upon arrival my zombies were NPC's. Entered the Arena, and they were back under my control, but then they did a lap around the arena.
They were both in Defensive Mode.
I didn't have enough time to check on this further, maybe when I get home tonight. -
Ranged Shot on my Kin/Arch Defender never animates, and 9 times out of 10 after Hasten auto-fires, I'll end up riding my bow like a broom if my character is hovering stationary.
On my Fire/Fire Scrapper, Fire Sword never animates and the sword appears only after the animation completes its swing.
I am currently at work and cannot get on to CoH, to give more specific details at this time. -
Quote:But wouldn't the server maintenance times be running at around 11pm for Smite?
Given the different time zone and all... could it be possible you're trying to log in during server maintenance?

Stalemate, haven't you figures out the rules yet? What's hers is hers, and what's yours is hers.
-
Outstanding (...in a field) job Kheldarn! I love the way the costumes have progressed the Kheldarns history. I tend to the same with my own characters.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
I think my winnings should still go to Stale. -
Quote:Forbin, I so LOL'dno prob crim. The imression i've gotten from the op's responses is that he's kind of guy that will stare at a person making a reasonable, well thought out response, with a blank look of total incomprehension. So i tried his native language. :d
Quinch, that is just full o' win. -

Quote:The exploration badges are a group effort, so the same character (or everyone the SG) doesn't have to collect all of them for one zone, though I like to get them on my characters anyway. It only matters if all of the exploration markers have been collected for a zone by SG member(s) while in SG mode.Yeah, I am not sure about all of them, but the last one I got, Nimble Mynx, I WAS in SG mode. I still didn't see it under my SG Exploration Badges.
When we do have them all in an area, will the teleport pad recognize this and allow us to create a beacon? Or will the workshop recognize it and allow us to create one?
Lastly, does ONE SG member have to have all of the badges, do ALL of the SG members have to have them, or can the SG members each have only SOME of the badges as long as the SG as a whole has the badges?
Thanks for your help! -
Quote:This is the info I was looking for, thanks Uber.Alternatively, you can bypass the patcher all together. It is possible to create a shortcut that runs the game without passing through the launcher. Of course, this most likely counts as an unsupported configuration, so make use of the following at your own risk. It works for me, but you should be aware of the caveats.
- You don't automatically download new patches. The game will kick you out when you try to log in a character if you are out of synch with the server.
- You don't automatically download pre-staged art and other content the devs sometimes release ahead of major patches.
So exercise judgment before following me off a cliff.
Shortcut Values
Target: "<GameInstallPath>\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project Coh <otherSwitches>
Start In: ""<GameInstallPath>"
Example From My System
Target: "D:\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project Coh -maxinactivefps 5
Start In: "D:\City of Heroes" -
They really need to fix that newsletter issue, I never receive one even though I am signed up to.

I started noticing this... hmmm... when I started playing 2yrs ago. It is quite annoying.

As far as credit card use, many offer one-use numbers for online. I do this with my CitiCard, but I wish my bank offered this feature.
As far as reminders, I put a recurring one in my phone. Like the one at the end of the month to remind me to get the 1yr + 2 free months deal being offered. -
I routinely get rubberbanding approaching WW in Talos after exiting Ouroboros, doesn't matter if anyone is there. I need to remember to do the /unloadgfx after exiting the portal.

Base salvage is history, but any you have can be converted with a crafting station. Base storage bins, which will no longer accept base salvage, can now hold normal invention salvage albeit, at a greatly reduced capacity.

So my tale of Scrapperlock from the other side.
I really need to put the thread title on a sticky on my monitor. It's taken a while, but eventually I learned to not go harrying off ofter the soloist who then gets in over their head.
But every so often I will forget, just like last night during a Sewer Trial. We were on the catwalks, working our way down to the Hydra head. One of the scrappers, had gone off on the other side into a mob of Rikti which wasn't an issue, but the Kraken standing not far off was.
Me, forgetting my creed "Support the team, not the loner." Flew off to pop at least a heal and a FS, proceeded to get taken down multiple mezz's and kraken technicolour yawns. I at least made it back over a catwalk before I went down rather than dropping down to the Hydra.
Being face-planted, it was easy enough to bang my head at that point.
Team: "I should know better than that by now." -
The change in powers bars is one of the few annoying things about the EAT's. None of mine are that high a level, I can only imagine what it must be like with 3-4 full trays full of powers.
-
And by the way, great Sewer Trial. I can honestly say I was a little busy to hold anyone coat, but I did sweep the floor several times.
