Game Card Notifications

My apologies if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't quite sure what this qualified as.

I would like a bit of notice BEFORE my Game card expires, please. I have a regular gaming group that meets twice a week, and the nearest store that sells Game Cards is 30 miles away, so it is a real pain when I get an email notice that my card has expired just before game time.

I've had problems with cyber-identity theft, so am reluctant to put my account on any credit cards.

The bank I worked for had a system they used that created notices called ticklers to remind officers of documents that needed to be renewed or addressed by a certain expiration date. Would it be possible to get something like that instituted here to give game card people a few days, or a week notice?

I would love this too. It would be nice to get a notice when my account is due.

Have you thought about using Paypal to pay for time? That would keep you from having to drive 30 miles.

Not a bad suggestion. I use a credit card and auto renew once yearly so although I don't run out of time it would be nice to be reminded when I'm about to lose a chunk of change out of my bank account.

In the mean time how about purchasing multiple cards at a time. If you are driving 30 miles just to get a game card then you are paying an additional $6 or more per card anyway in fuel costs.

As far as credit card use, many offer one-use numbers for online. I do this with my CitiCard, but I wish my bank offered this feature.

As far as reminders, I put a recurring one in my phone. Like the one at the end of the month to remind me to get the 1yr + 2 free months deal being offered.
