Pretty much as the title says. The Imperial Dynasty shoulders, gloves and chest piece have no option to not be metallic, and I wish they did because they look really out of place if you try to use them with anything that isn't metallic. They need to have both metallic and non-metallic versions available, like the various spiked shoulders and belts originally from CoV do.
Even worse, in beta when I looked at them there they weren't metallic, and looked awesome. Then we got them on live and they were metallic for some unknown reason. -
Personally, the only mission I play specific music for every time I do it is the two missions in Croatoa that have you killing ghosts. The ghostbusters theme, obviously.

Quote:I like this idea, make a solo/small team arc that deals with Vanguard offering humanitarian aid to the survivors in Praetoria. Have it give incarnate stuff at the end like the DA arcs do. Then we can give stuff to the soloists this issue too! It'd be cool to have an offshoot arc based around saving Praetorians (while others are defeating Cole). Sure, the big fancy showdown is the blockbuster... but the real heroes are the ones carrying the innocent people on their backs and/or digging out survivors!
Depending on what really happens with all of this, that could be a fun additional arc (and if not from the Devs, some good AE work could be used).
Actually I think that'd be a good idea in general. Every time they add a new trial, add one or two arcs dealing with the fallout from the events of said trial. -
I would say the same price charged to premium players for access to masterminds, controllers and epic ATs.

I'm pretty sure it already has one of those. It's marked on the map as a field analyst.

Indeed. Killing all those bosses or soloing either of the missions you'd normally have help for is way harder than, say, not clicking a glowie to turn off turrets in a BAF. Yet the latter gives bonus salvage and merits and the former do not.

This sounds like a perfectly logical suggestion to me.

Just something that seemed logical to me. In the new Dark Astoria content, there are five badges you can get for fulfilling specific challenges in certain missions. There is also a sixth badge for getting all five of those plus the arc and personal story badges.
Now, in the Incarnate trials there are similar badges for challenges and a master of whatever trial badge for getting all of them. In the trials the challenge badges give a random piece of uncommon incarnate salvage plus a bonus merit the first time you achieve them, and a bonus merit each time after that. The master badge meanwhile gives a random piece of rare incarnate salvage when you get them.
I think the aforementioned Dark Astoria badges should give the same rewards. The first time you get the badge you should get uncommon salvage and an astral merit, and completing the same challenge again on subsequent runs of the same arc via flashback should still give the bonus merit. Likewise, earning the badge for all of them plus the arc badges should give a random rare salvage.
Just seems logical to me, all challenge badges in incarnate content giving the same rewards whether they're trials or solo content. -
I doubt it's a matter of them not paying attention. More likely it's a matter of them not having spare resources on hand to make it happen immediately.

The minimal FX option in power customisation isn't a performance thing. You can't really have fire armor with no fire or dark armor with no darkness, they don't work conceptually without it. You can however be invulnerable without glowing. There's no inherent link between the two, hence the option to not glow.
That said however, something you might find useful. And I say might because I've never tried it myself - if you enable the option to suppress effects when the camera is close to the player, there's a slash command to set the distance the game considers as 'close'. If you set it to something huge then poof, no effects. Type /suppressCloseFxDist in chat followed by a number to set the distance. Just keep doing it with bigger and bigger numbers until the effects disappear. -
Personally I think they really should be tradable to characters on the same account only. My stalker now has two from running dark astoria content that she will never ever have any use for, as she already has a full superior ATO set slotted. I'd love to be able to give them to any of my other 50s that still have use for them.

Quote:I still like the 'toss an aircraft carrier at the enemy' option for that one.
'fleet judgement
Also, still want statesman's fancy lightning aoe attack as a judgement power please. -
It should also be noted that agility will also improve the end drain on ion radial judgement, and the recovery buff from ageless core destiny. I'm unsure if it affects the end drain from preemptive interface, but it might. The ageless is the important one, though. Even at it's lowest point it gives +100% recovery, which would become 133 or 145% depending on which agility you have. That's a pretty big increase, probably more than enough to offset not having cardiac.

Quote:The pose is slightly different, yes. But all the models that exist for the robotics pulse rifle also exist for beam rifle, minus a few unlockables, and the hands are in the same places on the weapon. The beam rifle pose just carries it a little higher.1. Are you sure the Beam Rifle and Pulse Rifle are held by the characters in the same way and won't cause clipping with simple ports?
Regarding those unlockables - crey rifles and rikti rifles available for beam rifle in return, please. -
YES. That is all. Also for the bolero and trenchcoats, and anything else that has all the other tops with skin pieces available.
On a related note, carnie sash usable with bolero please. -
Anyone know how long the buff lasts, out of curiosity?
-
Dark/fire for me. Maybe it'll be good enough that I'll actually play it instead of getting to 20ish and deleting it like I usually do with dominators.

Note that using the catalysts makes them better enhancements, but also increases their level requirement to 50. So don't upgrade them unless you're already 50, or you'll find you're unable to use the upgraded ones.
Also worth noting is that the upgraded and un-upgraded sets are mutually exclusive, you can't have one of each. For example if you have Blaster's Wrath: Accuracy/Damage slotted in any power and you try to slot a Superior Blaster's Wrath: Accuracy/Damage in any power it'll tell you you can't because it's unique. -
This is a cool idea for a set, and one that's been suggested a few times before under various names. Personally though, for an assault set with weapons I still want a pure sword set where the ranged attacks are Zelda style swordbeams.
-
Unfortunately this would require the devs to take time off the new shiny and go back to something older to add more to it, and we know how often they do that.
Which is a shame, cause this is a cool idea.

There is no such thing as too much recharge, regardless of what AT, powersets and build you have.

Peregrine is also, you know, an island. Building a monorail track all the way out there is probably kind of expensive.
One thing they could do though... there's a bus stop right by the station in Talos. They could put a stop near the ferry to Peregrine as well and then set them up so clicking one transports you to the other. Actual bus graphics optional. Would save a bit of time running across the zone. -
No offense meant to anyone, but it always amuses me how the supposed introverts are some of the most vocal people on the forums. Or that's how it seems these days.
Also, did we really need to have this argument yet again? Has it not been done to death already? -
To be fair, all the bosses in MoM are 54+2 so you really need to be +2 at least or you get smacked hard by the purple patch.
