I know about alternate spellings. There are four common alternates of my name. One of which include multiple letters not seen in the other three. -
There was an issue/possible exploit with binding the < & > symbols and so they are no longer valid in new keybinds. Most binds pre-existing the change still work. But if you are loading bind files, well those count as new binds upon loading. X

Try ZombieMan's link to using custom CSS sheets on pages - it's for firefox and similar browsers, but I'm using it to rid myself of the avatar "background" image that gives the grey borders/squares.

And yes, they do answer...sometimes. Sometimes they get busy, and don't...but I've gotten several answers from them. Just don't get offended if you don't get a response. They're awfully busy with I16 now.

If you look in the USER CP / EDIT AVATAR settings, you will notice it does say 100*100 is the limit.
I need to go through and edit some of mine to look nicer in the bigger (it was formerly 80*80) format.
As for where... I use my own webspace. Many others using image hosting sites like image shack. -
