  2. In part, because for most it's the most annoying mez, but also because for KB, there is not much difference between protection vs. resistance, and the other mez types have lots of ways to get resistance (which works to reduce mez duration) through IOs
  3. Note - the low base damage being offset by fury is also why brutes get a +700% damage cap (total of 800% of base, 95% is usually from enhancements).

In comparison, Scrappers and Blasters are +400% - note, this gives the brute and scrapper the approximate same max damage.

If, in the navigation window, you hit the red little exclimation mark next to the mission title it gives you some of the mission briefing the mission holder gets.
  5. Try the "Tech Issues & Bugs" forum - in the development subforum - the tech problem solvers hang out there.

This place does mostly things like "How does the Halloween Event work" or "How can I get extra costume slots", etc.
  6. Or an Energy/Energy Dominator.

    Smash, bash, and grab/hold.

Domination is him pulling out the lantern for a quick recharge

And the change to All-In-White; All-in-Tights when the costume offends, as well.
  8. I seem to recall paypal gets around this - if you have an account.

The heroes won't let mod8 have a fanclub, for fear that his dark power will grow.

Dr. Aeon and the Television don't support it either, but that's cause the only boss they'll work for is Numero Uno.

Good read and looking forward to playing it on numerous different characters. The one part that did catch my eye was the part where it says it drains the powers of non incarnates. Possible hint at power supression castle hinted at a year or so ago? If so, good way to make it happen imo Unless the taskforce doesnt let you start it unless your all incarnates . . . .
What we know about the incarnate system - For the Alpha slot (initial stage of incarnate) you have to unlock the slot, then (in the beta, at least) we where having to find special salvage to "Invent" "abilities" to slot in it.

The diary makes it sound like you have to have the slot open, and definitely states that if you don't have something in it, you operate under some kind of debuff.

Here's the page He uses the same link always, so it's always "up to date" to the latest version.

His sheet goes as a multiplier to damage, so over 1.0 means more, less than 1.0 means less damage taken).

Carnies - All have at least some resistance to Psi (most take .8). Except for Strongmen, all take 1.0 to everything else but lethal, which is 1.2. (Doesn't include strongmen with Temp Invlun up.

Only the Madame of Mystery (.55, her least protected damage type, .15 for Psi, .35 all else) and Vanessa DeVore (1.0 to all but Psi, .75 for psi) take less than 1.2 times lethal damage.

Freaks - Average .95 resistance vs. S/L (Most are 1.0), .8 to cold (most .7/.75), .1.19 to energy - and most of that energy is either 1.0 (Freak Gunner, meat Doctor types) or 1.25/1.3 (pretty much everything else, including AVs).

    Tanks have .75 vs. S/L.

All the AVs take 1.0 vs. S/L
  12. Also leveling speed has increased a lot since release. A lev fifty took more hours to get ther back in '04 compared today.
  13. /gunignore their name. Also they will show up on the ignore list in the friends menu.

As for the email - after you unignore your friend, have him checkk his mail and you check yours. If it does not show up then, contact a GM via /petition.

And unlike games that leave corpses, you don't find any interesting ads like the site spelled out in gnome corpses

And just to make sure you're aware -

/ignore is different than /ignorespammer (! Ignorespammer auto corrects/finishes on my iPhone).

/ignorespammer does require a threshold (enough reports) to be reached for a petition to file, so if the spammers are being vulgar (/ignorespammer is for any spamming, not just money sellers) also /petition under "TOS/Harassment" for faster action.

Sorry, not buying it. It is not a flaw to have a reward be useful in situations other than that which rewards it - or a half the uniques in this game wouldn't work outside of TF mode.

That's what Dark Consumption is for

The "Dark" powersets tend to have a control/to-hit debuff secondary effect.

Warshades are bit more slow/with some control secondary effects, although it does indeed have an OG clone.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you but actually this has nothing to do with tips but rather has to do with inherent powers that are already implemented in the game. This would work like the "Sands of Mu" power and works exactly like the convention costume codes that were already given to those who attended the numerous comic cons or hero cons of past.
He's referring to the fact that the new event requires a person to be using a costume power to get the new event mission.

Therefore, giving the vets an advantage over the newbies.

And what bug are you talking about, Bill?

Personally, I liked running the mish, as it's a very different from your standard run-of-the-mill mishs. But I also understand why people can find it tedious. I break the monotony by standing on top of the things when they blow up (with my KB protection turned off) and seeing how far I can fly...
Also, I seem to recall it actually awards a badge?(last in the arc?) therefore isn't auto-complete allowed.

    Pistols question

Each attack can be slotted for defense debuff - along with slow (ice ammo).

    Um, it's decent.

  24. Why the choice of kinetic melée vs fire melée for a scrapper vs a brue, if I may ask?
