Not sure of a title for this - About hours logged.
I suppose it would depend on what your definition of "insane" is. I have a couple of characters which have been regularly played pretty much since April 2004. I haven't checked the number of hours on them lately but I wouldn't be surprised if my oldest had like 10,000 hours or more. Is that "insane" for a character that's been active for 78 months?

Luckily, it was a leap year...

I think that depends on what you are doing. For example, people who have alt-itis might have very low numbers compared to somebody who plays only very few characters.
In my case, my 3 badge hunters have the following numbers:
Master-Blade: 3239 hours
Teal Tabby: 1408 hours
Robin Rogue: 1146 hours
I don't consider either of those "insane". The only reason MB is so much higher than the others is because he earned Empath way back on the old requirements that took extra months of time than it did for the other two.
Depends a lot on your lifestyle, how long you've been playing, and so on.
If you've been playing for 6 months, and you have a character with 2000 hours logged, something is almost certainly unusual about your life.
Also leveling speed has increased a lot since release. A lev fifty took more hours to get ther back in '04 compared today.
Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
The results of a survey might be a little misleading because currently players can remain in an instance indefinitely, logging hours until the server goes down. And back in the olden days, there was no time-out period, so people would sometimes just go to sleep with our characters staying logged in.

"Hmm, I guess I'm not as omniscient as I thought" -Gavin Runeblade.
I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
Even when logged out, when I log back in, sometimes I get a "This account is already logged in" meaning the entire time I have been logged out, the game still thinks I am there. Skews the results.
Really must "M" check my main, but the last time I looked at him, he had something of the order of 5,000+ hours. Many people think that over 200 solid days of playing one character is a little weird.
The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*
