So apparently I did manage to get two (was wondering if the timeout, at first, was a reaction to it being taken as I use it) but only one shows up in my powers list as of an hour or so ago and I've two codes listed in my account (one listed 3-4 times.

pretty much every time the game runs, it will check vs. that checksum file. if one isn't there, it will make a new one. It's part of the file verification method.
the reason for deleting it is to force it to make a new one, since the old one was letting your corrupted .pigg file pass. -

Um, the best way to utilize them is summon them to absorb the alpha strike
the damage, resistance, endurance and defense bonuses are all rather minor, so don't fret to much over which. -

If it didn't it should of reverified the files after finding no checksum file.
Check, and delete 1) the checksum file if a new one was generated, and b) the player.pigg file referenced in the crash. It should then re-download a (uncorrupted) player.pigg file. -

Has a silenced version of what's up for download at the citybinder site.
Basically, took a program like Metapad and went through each file and did a "replace all" on both bind_load_file and bindloadfile with bindloadfilesilent.
The MM and Speed On Demand were the big ones for this. -
I'm attempting something. Will report back if it works (find/replacing "bind_load_file" with "bind_load_file_silent" in the .lua files >.>

I'd just run it on the files it generates for you (if I remember how it works) or is that the files it's made for you? X.X
There is probably some automated way of doing it for that many files, but I wouldn't know off the top of my head. -
1 - did you try talking to the NPC near the resistance door?
2 - I think there are other access points to the underground in each zone - try those. -
I'd recommend reposting in the Kheldian and Controller forums.

I ask too because now when you move the mouse over the tier 1, it seems that it would need more components to be active again, so I assume thats if you wanted to go back to just that tier 1 boost. But going to tier 2, you've subsumed tier 1.
