Actually I was making a joke.

    Lighten up, Francis.

I have WS and PB unlocked, but I don't play them as I just don't get them. I also don't play tanks or defenders. No big.
  3. Boy, am I stupid. I didn't realize I could log on really quick, find some exploit-AE Big Red team and have a Crab by 4 p.m.
  4. It may seem really wonky, but I've been thinking about Energy/Ice/Force.

I honestly have no idea how the set would work, but I like both halves of it. With the kb and the slow, I think it might even be a bad bad joke.
  5. This falls right into a question I was going to ask but didn't want to start a thread.

That is the weakest, or least synergetic, scrapper combo? Really taxing and horrid?

Cause I'm gonna make one, and rock it.
  6. The only time I got stuck and I wailed for help in broadcast. I was told to rotate and jump backward. It worked.

I stood there a sec getting my stuff together, turning on my ten toggles, and someone showed up, got stuck, rotated and jumped backward out of it.

So, that seems to be known by some people.

    Self destruct should work too.
  7. They had that in beta but all the unicorns ran away for lack of virgins. Damn Eden top!

Eight is fine. Just make sure you have your Hot Feet, Char and Fire Cages. That's what we use 80% of the time anyhow.

If you level to twelve, run to a trainer and get Flashfire. If we're stacking our AMs on each other, you shouldn't have a problem with endurance running unslotted, unless you die while everyone is recharging.

And, an aside here, we're getting really sloppy with the AM since we're plowing through everything. Often usually I only had three or four stacked, which while a dream to many, I've seen us be conservative and always stack the full 8.

That said, I aggroed some crap this last time just by accidentally shooting cages or char into a spawn and, if we were a lesser team we would have gotten wiped.

This monday I should get my imps. Woooo.
Unless I take her out before then. I love the Frad team, but I'm really a scrapper.
  9. Man, I feel bad for those in TFs. I had just finished one and was in WW when I got mapserved. Didn't bother coming back so I missed all the un-fun.
  10. Welcome back. Everything has changed.

There's travel changes. Slotting changes. New powers. A market. AE.

Ask questions here and we'll point you in the right direction.
  11. Dark Astoria with Ambient Occlusion set to, either min or max. Whiever makes it totally gray is my first thought.

    Or what everyone else said.
  12. I'd actually like to team with him. He's got spirit. Probably a "leaping scrapper" like I am.

    That's right, you're wrong.

    Emp/Archery Defenders =/= Farmer.

But Ice/Emp controller, damn, that's the best farmer around, dagnabbit.
  14. Another vote for Fire/Ice. Mine is my favorite blaster, though I also have a love/hate with my AR/Dev. Dev sucks so bad you get to take a lot of pools, so getting Rec Friend, etc, doesn't hurt so much.

AR looks like it rocks early, it kinda does, but getting Full Auto really makes it bloom. The hokey Dev powers let you get near perma-hasten on an econo budget though the AR is a little Posi heavy but each gets you 6.25%, and throw in an entropic/decimation for the fifth 6.5% recharge. Manticore in snipe gets you 7.5%, as does...ah...something in...

My stuff [had to pull up mids]
    • Four Posi and an Entropic = 5x6.5 = 31.25% recharge
    • Adjusted Targeting + Dark Watcher + Red Fortune + Impervious Skin = 4x5% = 20%
    • Kinetic Crash + Manticore = 2x7.5% = 15%
    • Hasten = 70% recharge. 134 sec to recharge w 120 sec duration = 14 seconds w/o Hasten available.
Full blown running = 136.25% recharge
    That 14 seconds = 66.25% recharge

And that doesn't include your rech in your attacks.

But...really, you can do that with most secondaries, and I'm far from reccomending Dev as a well fashioned set, but for slotting for IO bonus recharge it's quite nice.

Trip mines are good at Halloween. You also get a non-speed supressing stealth. No build-ups in sight though.

As for asking for a build on a silver platter that isnt Mid's Grown?I dont know how difficult that would be, so I apologize yet again?

Also, I have no idea how easy it is to Perma Dull Pain, and I do have some small amount of knowledge for IOs, and Ill most likly be adding a Damage Proc to Focus, and use that attack alot in PvP.Might work, might not, but isnt that my call to try it?

Anyhow, ty for the negative responses and wasting my time.Im done with this thread.
Dude, you've done this before. Exactly.

    You: Make me the impossible.
Us: That's not possible, in fact, it blows.
You: You guys suck for not being able to the impossible. [Ad hominum crap.]
Us: [Still trying to give help.]
    Rinse, Repeat.
  16. Changed my cheapo build, pulled a slot off beanbag and put Kinetic Crash into Trip Mine for 7.5% more rech.
  17. Here's my "so cheap I found it in the toilet and it still roxxorz" build:

And I don't know if this will show on yours like it does mine, but sometimes there is a toggle bub on either M30 or Burst that shouldn't be there. It will erroniously add 100% to recharge. Make sure to turn that off. This is 17 sec short of perma-hasten, not 15 sec overlap.

  24. I've got a suggestion for next week. I recently ran the Midnighters arc at level 48, with seven 20somethings sked to me, and it was insane.

I think Midnighters at +3 and a 30+ person leading would be pretty swank. Also, I need to do it at some point. I nearly panicked when I found out my 48 hadn't done it and I had reserved a spot on an ITF.

Unless I'm bleeding out my eyeballs, Kaylee Foxtrot will be there.
