What's even funnier is getting a blind invite to a team, turns out they are going to "farm", you tell yourself what-the-hell and here the leader say, "This is my first time running this".
Everyone enters the mission and begins to attack the first mob, you notice they have no chance against level 54 bosses, for one, the Tank was the first one dead, and second when you ask the Tank how they are slotted you get 6 people asking you, "What's an enhancement?".
You check their badges and all of them don't even have the first vet badge yet.
The other person on your team is laughing just as hysterically as you are as you both stand back and watch them die.

I remember that day

That's funny, I jumped on a PuG with a lvl 20 WP Tank that believed since he was auto SK'd to 50, he could herd 54s. Died before he could finish his taunt pull. Hilarious that he blamed it on lag. -

The strength of the generalist is the ability to be all of these, albeit to a lesser degree, at the same time. You won't out-blast the Blaster, but you'll out-blast the Tanker. You won't out-tank the Tanker, but you'll out-tank the Controller. You won't out-control the Controller, but you'll out-control the Scrapper. You get the idea.

I LOVE IT!!! -
800 Million was spent purpling out my Fire/EM blaster and another 800 Million spent on my WP/EM tank. This was when there was a ample supply of purples on the market, now though those same builds are prob close to the 2 billion range, heck I sold a Heca DAM this weekend for 300 million. CRAZY!! If you're like me and have an old purpled out toon you don't play anymore now is the time to RESPEC and sell.

personally i think warshade's make better tanks than PB's. reason being is you get Eclipse, 2xMires, stygian circle, dark extraction.
yea warshade's have a lot going for them like even taking alpha's in nova form and barely taking a scratch, also warshade's seem to have better DPS then PB's as there's no downtime once u have stygian circle. you get bonus of a stealth and recall friend, and since ur taking eclipse means ur taking hasten so why not ss too?
the only thing pb's have going for them is their version of dull pain, but would u rather have an extra 300 hp or be capped to every type of damage in the game 85% resistances, tanks get their caps at 90% but its impossbiel for a tank to hit capped resistance on every damage type without lots of defenders on the team.

White Dwarf though is better at tanking than Black Dwarf. Not sure what form OP was talking about. -
[ QUOTE ]
Peacebringers can tank well, but if you're making a PB solely to be a 'main tanker' then you're probably better off with a Tanker. The appeal of the PB over the Tanker is that it can tank and fill other roles to some degree. It's a generalist.
If you're only looking to fill one role, you don't want a generalist. You want the specialist for that role. In this case, a Tanker. If you want a damage-dealing, control-using powerhouse that can also tank in a pinch, then the PB's for you. If all you care about is being main tank, then be a Tanker.

What he said. -
Kind of Confused with the purpose/slotting.
You want Recharge, but recharge for what purpose? Double Essence Boost/Perma-Hasten?
Accuracy? Why?
If your goal is status protection forget it, carry breakfrees. You will get mezzed alot.
IMO your build is a poorly done-up scrapper. Check out some of the other human only posts if you're thinking of going that route. -
Sad to see you go Doll, never played much redside, but had fun playing with you on your WS. We all need a break sometimes, I took mine when they nerfed Burn.
-
I take it on every tank also.
-
Issue 5 was a hard pill to swallow, took alot of the "hero" feeling out of the game. It actually made the game challenging and forced alot of us to relook/retire some favorite toons. I have a Scrapper that hasn't seen an issue after i5.
Issue 14 has given what appears to be some breathe of air into the game. Now that everyone has figured away to get to lvl 50 without ever leaving Atlas, there appears to be more activity. I see more people trying out toons they would have never bothered trying to level naturally. Personally I think i14 is just an experiment. Let a bunch of people get to lvl 50 and hopefully the fact they have a high lvl character capable of experiencing all content and they will stay on as subscribers. -

Heh. So when your teammates' names showed up in that window, you thought it meant they were your pets? That must have been very gratifying.
[/ QUOTE ]
To a Troller Teammates and Pets are synonymous. -
I just use my numpad keys(1,2,3) for each imp.
-
The Windows is pretty useless, no control options available for pets.
-
Going to warn you, Base Editing is a totally different grind for levels. True, it's a heck of alot easier now, but with every new purchase comes that hunger for the next shiny toy.
-
No purpose to this thread, I just find some of the AE comments funny if you've been playing for awhile.
Today I got asked by a Lvl 50 toon " How do I get out of this building". So I led him to the door and told him to click it. I'm all about helping. -
All I could do was ROFL. Man I love AE.
-
Reading your post got me to thinking, short of running a TF I don't see many requests for a tanker. Now granted the team composition has alot to do with it also. Get a bunch of trollers together and they'll generally scoff at inviting a "pure" Tanker. Get a group of blasters and it's heals and a tank.
-
Well I din't take Fire like the others. Fireballing Oil slick would be the only reason I would take it, but since I picked Magic origin I just use the apprentice charm. It's a fun toon with some serious AOE goodness.

Double This. -
Some things to check are if anyone else is doing some heavy P2Ping or reboot the ole router if you're using one.
-
Probably a farmer and Khelds aren't normally the AT of choice. Warshades can usually get in due to the pets, but PBs are the wildcard. Lot of high level PBs without Nova form and human-formers aren't the most desirable in that situaion.
