Introducing... the Billionaire Duo
Bike Thief is a great name.
I also admire your avatar.
GRATZ on the double dip!
The Nethergoat Archive: all my memories, all my characters, all my thoughts on CoH...eventually.
My City Was Gone
Congratulations, Sil!
Nice avvy.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Another ebil marketeer reaches his goal.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

These are my first billionaires, and having 2 hit at the same time wasn't exactly intentional.

Congrats on the double bil! I am hoping my main will achieve the 1 bil mark here pretty soon. I'm struggling to not go on a massive IO spree to stock up my SG bins.
Grats!
Gratz!

My avatar wants to take a bite of your avatar. Yum!
Grats!
I'd have a bil or two by now if I weren't buying as much as I'm making.

Thanks guys. The avatar is, of course, a nod to this forum, and the tips and tricks gleaned to make this possible. It's also a reminder of the happy feeling I get when I open the WW interface and see that bright blue highlight of an item sold. I will be sure to upgrade the IO to something more valuable once I score that big sale! I tend to use the items that are truly valuable.
I "stole" Bike Thief from the Freezepop song by the same name. I have a defender named True Faith, and a stalker named Perfect Kiss, so song titles are frequent inspirations for character concepts. Judas Unchained was named for a book from British SF author Peter F. Hamilton.
As far as spending, yeah... I'm wondering how to best put this stash to work before it starts bubbling away. I might just take my typical strategy of "for every recipe I plan to use, buy 3 more to flip to nullify the cost" to the next level.
Gratz!! Do like me and make piggybank toons and stuff them full and start all over.

The highest any of my villains have gotten is my fire/psi dom, at about 180 million, and that build is still in progress.

Just in case you hadn't heard, there are a ton of changes coming down the pipe for doms, particularly /psi. I'd recommend checking out the changes on the Training Room before dumping too much inf into the build.
And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines
Congrats!

Bike Thief and Judas Unchained
These are my first billionaires, and having 2 hit at the same time wasn't exactly intentional.
Bike Thief was conceived as a typical fire/kin, meant to generate enough influence to cover my other alts' needs. But I found the build was quite fun, so she built up her wealth through multiple avenues... Normal play, TFs, gaining Field Crafter, and the occasional farming map. It was a slow and steady incline.
Judas Unchained, a spines/fire scrapper, was created to mow down Cimerorans and Rikti, and generated decent influence, even while being in SG mode all the time. He saw a rapid rise in his deposits from crafting and selling Bronze ticket recipes since AE opened.
The two converged on 1 billion within 4 days of each other. Over time, the notion of a "sugar daddy toon" became obsolete. All of my characters over level 30 have in excess of 100 million to their name by leveraging the market, and are self-sufficient.
Now to get cracking on the red market. The highest any of my villains have gotten is my fire/psi dom, at about 180 million, and that build is still in progress.
