  2. With the addition of the Hero Fabricator (wait for it to load), I can make nifty off-line images with powerset formulas. I've recreated all my main heroes already.

  3. Now, with the Periodic Table of Super-Powers, it's possible to put together a formula for most super-powered beings that we can all learn and recognize. I might even start putting them in my bio field.

My signature hero, Nuclear Blaze, is ScFFrFb.

I had to give +rep for using the phrase "faffing around". Awesome. And also because I'm too don't-care lazy to mess with set IOs.

I hoard nothing. It's easier to sell something I don't use.

Yes, like merits and costume tokens, my badger collects every possible temp power.

And just like merits and costume tokens, I never use them. I might occasionally "wield" one for fun, but I can't use them. They're still Mint In Box and will never sell on eBay if they're used!

    Demons Shield

I didn't read the whole thread, but I just rolled a shield scrapper and I couldn't find the demon shield anywhere. My concept is trashed! RAGE!

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing as I read through the thread. It never ceases to amaze me the people that want it to be harder without using the game-provided tools to get the challenge they say they want.

  8. Since I don't know what an incarnate is, or what I'll have to do to become one, I'll wait until there is more information to use in making a choice.

But I'm with others. Raiding? Bleh.

  9. I play MA for content. As someone who doesn't spend Merits, I'm not there for rewards.

This is the biggest problem I have with the MA. I've wasted too much time trying to find something fun, and getting on a PUG team is easier and usually more fun to boot.

I rarely use MA these days.

I had the most fun in CoH that I've had in a long, LONG time.
People make fun of me for taking higher level characters on sewer runs, but they're so much fun! And the advantage is, as the team leader levels up, I get powers unlocked for use. Plus, if it's not a 50, I still get xp. Win-win-win!

The spaceship Archon Prime is in orbit as well. (Isn't that why we have teleporters?) You should see the control room!

  15. (With apologies to Joyce Kilmer.)

I believe that I shall never see
An NPC blocker as lovely as a tree.

A tree whose stalwart trunk is prest
    Against the NPCs flowing crest.

A tree that renders anew all day
While leafy arms in the "wind" do sway.

A tree that may after battle wear
    Ragdoll Council in her hair.

Upon whose branches Outcast have jumped
Fleeing heroes whose blood is pumped.

Poems are made by fools like me
But nothing stops NPCs like a tree.

  16. I'd like them to be more aware. If I'm having a super-powered firefight with a group, and another group is like 20 feet away, they shouldn't just stand there, they should come help their compatriots that are being ground up like the hero fodder they are.

I was surprised at how much honking I can hear in Icon in Steel Canyon. Finally opted for turning off my speakers too.

  23. No wonder I hadn't noticed the difference: I turned my music ON for the first time since Day One of release.

I'm still being surprised by some zones that don't have music for each neighborhood.

    My Team Wish

I didn't read the whole thread, but I totally agree that this game needs a Make A Team Wish Foundation.
