Idea: Costumer's Best Friend!

Basically, this is the costuming version of the Taxibots.

Does your character just NEED certain unockable or craftable peices?

Dragon Wings for your dragon, Piston Boots for your Robot? a Tommy Gun for your mobster?

OR maybe your character transforms, and just needs two costume slots from the beginning.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were people around who would be willing to help you with that problem? Wouldn't it be GREAT if those people were easy to find?

My idea here is a volunteer costumer's help-force. People who join would offer their services, via giving recipes and salvage, helping with defeat badges, and zooming players through costume slot, cape and aura mishes, as well as bringing them along on ITFS and Raids.

Would they also be willing to farm Vanguard merits for me? Because I'd be totally all over that.

I would SO back this, and help with it. My mace brute is like level 20, which means I won't have the carnie hammer her concept demands for quite some time...

I'd love to see this for people. If anyone ever has a concept that just calls for a certain unlockable, I'd love to see them get it ASAP. And I'd gladly help whenever I can.

The question is... How do you set this up and make it something that the players-in-question can reach us so that we can help them.

A thread on the forums is great for those who visit the forums. They can come in and make it known what they want and we can arrange to help them.
However... Those new players and players who don't visit the forums... how do they reach out?
If only we could give them a spotlight with... what would the emblem of this organization be?

Well, obviously a Global Channel is a must. In-game it would recquire a bit of advertising in broadcast/help

I've got plenty of Costume Recipes I'd be more than happy to donate.

SOOOO I've sorta hammered out some details, give your opinions

At least twice a month(Which is all I can really promise for myself, more volunteers=more events) one for Red Side and one for Blue side, we would host an event.

It would basically be the group going after at least 2 unlockable costume peice goals, more if the evenign goes well. Maybe one farm and/or a story arch if possible. During this event, costume recipes, halloween salvage, and salvage for said recipes would be given out and/or traded, but only amongst the people who actively take part in that day's event, that way, we have no "free riders" who simply take but don't give.
