I will stop all the muggings the day my level 50s can blow the muggers away with the mere proximity of their AWESOME.

I'd like to see a zone like TRON, where we get digitized and shrunk to computer-component-level size, and have to fight the evil mapserver to make the City safe for all networking citizens.

Never a fan of "fluffy", I've called my Dark Servant "Big Boned".

Quote:That's just crazy talk. That doesn't really seem to make sense, though, since almost any name other than stuff like "Lizard-Man" or "Varpo the Power Cowboy" are going to be SOMEONE'S name. If I call my new blaster Dave Johnson, I've used a name shared by thousands, but I'm pretty sure it would never be genericed.

I want to know how someone who has time to wallpaper his house in spreadsheets and come up with solo poker has the time to do something like this? AND PLEASE STOP MY SIDES HURT FROM LAUGHING!

Quote:And from that day forward, I referred to algebra as ARBEGLA!But i needed a name, and i've never been really creative at making them. So while creating this new mastermind, i looked up, and saw my brothers pre-algebra book.. and i thought to myself... Algebra. Then i realized having Algebra as a character name would just scream nerd. So i flipped it, and Arbegla was made.

The higher level you get, the longer it takes to level, since the amount of experience required for the next level continues to go up as well. You might as well steel yourself for leveling that will take longer and longer.
Or you might try joining a team from time to time. You get an experience bonus on teams, and generally burn through missions faster. If you're all about the xp, teams are the way to go for a casual player.

Quote:Pretty much any hunt mission, especially those in Peregrine Island. (Really? Defeat 45 hard-to-find mobs in a very small zone?)For zone missions, my least favorite is the Rikti hunt in the Abandoned Sewer Network. I did that one twice before the auto-complete feature was added, and I now happily auto-complete it every time.
But "Defeat 40 Rikti in the [Abandoned] Sewers" always gets an auto-complete. Yug.

I have the opposite problem, typically with mission/contact dialogs. Click on "Yes, I'll help you" or something, and nothing. Click it again, and THEN it moves on to the next thing.
And, of course, the age-old problem of exit doors, say from the Hospital. It's gotten so I just superclick the mouse 6 or 7 times to make sure I get out...

With the Hamidon wars and all, are Praetorian vegetarians considered carnivores of the enemy?

Here's what I'd like to see: Flavors of the existing power pools.
Background: Power pools are generic offerings to all characters. With power customization, some powers have alternate weapons/animations.
So, for example, the Medicine pool could have, in addition to the tricorder device, a magical flavor, a nanite/cyborg flavor, and a mutant essence-flow flavor. It opens up the travel powers to have some alternative approaches for the same basic body animations (think pre-order sprints). And so on.
Not only does this add an RP element for many people, but it also opens up the pools to people who now have additional power choices but may not like the specific look and feel of some pool powers.
All my characters are concepts, and since they all have Fitness, I'm looking at what to replace those 3 or 4 power selections with. Something like this would make taking additional pools that much more exciting.

This thread seems to validate all the work the devs did on Going Rogue. A higher percentage of players seem to be reading the mission text in Praetoria.

It'd be awesome if "Phase Shield" actually let you phase through the shield to get the badge. You wouldn't need much time to get the badge, since Phase Shield only lasts for 30 seconds, it all evens out in the end.

As a lefty, I normally can't use fancy mice because they only seem to come in right-hand versions. The right-handed ergonomics quickly turn your left hand into a numb claw.
I use symmetrical mice on my computers. <shrug>
