LFG window? A sign of things to come?
There's also some lfg-sounding commands appeared in /cmdlist that I don't *think* were there before -
lfg_request_event_list Request LFG system event list
lfg_queue_for_events Queue for events in LFG system
lfg_remove_from_queue Remove me or my team / league from LFG queue
lfg_event_response Accept / reject offer to join event
Also a "Looking for Group" channel among the default channel options.
My guess is something relating to the incarnate "endgame content".
This is like CO "NemCon" and how pvp instances are started. If you are looking for team queue in, when there are 5 or specific team number of players to start a TF/SF then the mission will start/begin. No more standing around broadcasting "LFT" sorta' -waiting for something to happen.
This is like a P.U.G. system that let's you join teams for TF's, SF's, PvP team without having to be in the same zone.
I wonder what the CoX community think of this system?

They were apparently working on this in GR Beta, or at the very least this feature existed on the Beta server, probably accidentally left in.
On a more pertinent note, I've always said that auto-teaming and random game joining would be a great way to make the game feel a LOT more populated than it necessarily is, and represents both a good way to provide constant teams to people who want that, as well as a less personal means of teaming for those of us who don't, meaning we might just team from time to time anyway. Making that a reality would be a good call.
Maybe that's what they're testing in that Beta everyone's been speculating about?

this reminds me of something similer- wow's system. so if this does go ahead and worked properly, i think this could be a very good thing for the game..and will explain what posi said about making it easier to team in time

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

While putzing around with my window layout, I noticed a "LFG" window in the window list. Curious, I pulled it up and got... this.
Anyone know how long this has been here? I'm guessing it doesn't do anything - yet, anyway {first time I pulled it up, a few days ago, the button said "UnableToJoinQueue" or something along those lines}. Initially I thought it was some kind of auto-teaming mechanism, but clicking the "Join Queue" button returns a " No missions found that can be joined by all team members", which is a little... confusing.
What's the deal? Another example of halfassed feature implementation? A work in progress? Devs taunting us? Anyone have an idea?
