While getting Outcast kill badge isn't fun: you have to farm the same mission 34 times, it is still possible to do it at any time through ouro. Different case is for Trolls badge, if you outleveled paper or mayhems you pretty much out of luck unless you can find lowbies that willing to help you with troll farms.

Quote:Couple billions more?PA lasts for 60 seconds, you can ignore the 3.1 second activation time since the decoys come out sequentially and disband at the same speed. Base recharge is 240 seconds. 240/60=4, minus 1 for base and 0.95 for internal slotting gives you 205% global recharge bonus needed to perma.
IW lasts for 90 seconds and has a 0.73 activation time, which translates to 0.93 seconds accounting for server ticks. Base recharge is 360 seconds. 360/(90-0.93)=4.041, minus 1.95 for base and slotting gives you 209.1% recharge needed to be perma.
70% for hasten, 40% from double stacking siphon speed. either 95% global recharge from IOs for PA or 99.1% for IW.
Finding an extra 4-5% recharge at this level is not "much harder". -
An elevator bug affects all hostages/allies and even your own pets. But I'd agree, its manifestation on RSF is most annoying.
It seems that moving ASAP from elevator doors by 15-20 feet somewhat helps to avoid this problem. -
Quote:Not really. While testing his spawning last couple days, I saw him being spawned at 2 different spawn points and heading to all 4 destination points. You might want to take on one that is getting spawned at a graveyard (Potter's Field). From there he proceeds either to another part of graveyard or to Hell Forge. Both paths are far away from drones (closest drones are located at Hospital). Here's the thing, though: Prior to the Winter Event, I'd see him go to different locations. Since the Winter Event, that is the ONLY place he goes.
And BTW, I saw GoS spawned multiple times even while WL was in zone as well. -
Quote:IW is much harder to perma than PAAs an Ill/Kin controller you do have the option of building for the frankly insane levels of +recharge bonus needed to make phantom army permanent and taking 'Indomitable Will', the mez protection click power from the psionic mastery epic pool. They have the same duration/recharge time ratios so when one is perma the other should be too.

No retreat. We always can fallback to retreat if something doesn't work.

Quote:According to my observations, there is prespawn event, where scrapyarders spawn inmasse and are proceeding to one of Ghost of Scrapyard's spawning points. Ghost of Scrapyard will be spawn after their quantity at such spawning point reaches some critical mass. It seems that such activity is continuing to take place even after GoS spawned, so after droning GoS, it is possible to respawn GoS again in the same group of scrapyarders in about minute or so. I'm not sure whether you need to drop number of scrapyarders below critical mass and let them reach critical mass again or you can leave them as it is.Did several tests on this a while back on the Training Server. Ghost of Scrapyard is on a timer; he would spawn on average within 10 to 15 minutes regardless of whether zero miners or 200+ miners were defeated.
Even had one run where I droned him and he respawned immediately, so no amount of miners were defeated and he spawned.
Quote:Saturday, on Justice, we were trying to get him to spawn after he got droned on our first attempt. We thought he would spawn on defeats so we all scattered to get them.
I found a reliable spot where they just came in huge mobs, wave after wave so I set my mercs in their path. I must have mowed down hundreds of them. Someone finally asked that we stop and let the scrapyarders go where they want. Sure enough as soon as the first wave or two passed me they walked about a hundred feet, milled around in the street and the ghost spawned.
Winter Lord came up while we were fighting him, and Ghost came up while we were fighting WL... or did he come up while we were waiting for the present? At any rate it was within 15 minutes of his previous defeat.
In retrospect it was kind of funny that we were actually preventing him from spawning by doing the thing we thought would trigger him.
I believe, you can prevent or at least delay his spawning. See my responses to other quotes. -
Quote:Should it have all 3 Chief Soldiers or mix of bosses is OK?
The standard RWZ challenge involves a single character taking on a RWZ spawn that has at least 3 bosses and is +4 (so that usually means level 54 baddies). These are the basic RWZ challenge rules (sorry if I missed some):
-No inspirations allowed
-No temp. powers allowed
-No click accolades (auto accolades are fine)
-All aggro must be on the player at all times.
-Spawn must contain three (3) boss level critters
-Spawn must be +4 (so that means level 54) -
In my experience, killing the protesting miners in Port Recluse area will spawn Ghost of Scrapyard. While helping my friend to get these badges for multiple toons, we were able to spwan him every 5-10 mins or so.

If you can handle x8 spawns, then Fakes can be found in Liberate TV mission. Dark Watcher's arc (and perhaps Serpent Drummer's arc) is also good to farm Fakes.

Quote:I bet, these flags will be ignored half of the times, as were ignored the zones pre i16. When levels 10-20 were asking "Can I join your team?" even if that player was in RWZ or CimNot if we can also clearly see that the team already has 8 people in it.
Though you're right that a "looking for more" flag would be useful too. But also have some "not looking for more" flags and things. -
Quote:Yep. Hami aggro tank was without support and had to taunt 1st yellow mito as well. Also, a strategy was different from regular hami raids in that we took down green mitos first, followed by yellows, blues and Hami.i resemble that pronoun. (As if there would be much doubt.)
Getting sigged for stating the obvious is rather amusing.
19 is a rather impressive minimum raid size. i've been at raids where a good chunk of it was accomplished with ~30 random players, but i would expect 19 would require a little more coordination of powerset and AT distribution.
Also, mind/ controlers FTW -

It isn't suppressed while you attacking. I can stand in the middle of one spawn while attacking another, and spawn i'm standing in will completely ignore me unless I somehow aggroed them. It is only suppressed when you are interacting with glowie.

Quote:http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Limits...and_PerceptionOkay, so...I know next to nothing about the mechanics of PvP, especially with all the DR stuff, so I'm gonna ask it here.
Say that we have a team of players who go into PvP together. If all 8 had Tactics (with one ToHit Buff IO slotted) running, is that enough to see a Stalker who's capped on Stealth? If not, would adding the Increased Perception unique IO help?
Thanks
Stalker's capped stealth is 1143,
Capped perception(for all ATs except VEATs) is 1153,
Capped perception for VEATs is 1260 -

I don't know about fire/cold, but I think it was Silverado who soloed AVs, GMs and DE Monsters on fire/rad.

I skimmed through the whole thread, but haven't notice anyone mentioning this. It might help to these players who don't have very good gaming rig/GFX card. So here it goes...
It's been very frustrating at first for me to get slope badges during Winter Event last year. To the point that I originally thought about players dispensing IR as some sort of griefersWith IR I couldn't stay on the slope even 10 feet.
Without IR, run was little bit better, I even managed to get bronze, and probably silver (don't remember exactly), but couldn't even come closer to gold time. At the same time I noticed that I couldn't precisely control my toon during the slide. I had keypress/reaction lag around 0.5-1.0 sec. For example, after I pressed spacebar, toon will jump with 0.5-1.0 seconds delay.
So I decided to play with GFX settings to see if it can make any difference.
In short, "3D Resolution Scaling" had HUGE impact on how responsive/nonresponsive game played during the slope slide. After dropping "3D Resolution Scaling" from 1600x1200 to 800x600, the 0.5-1.0 seconds lag completely disappeared, and I was able to precisely control my toon on the slope. IR/SJ/Zero-G Pack became essential and allowed control toon much better.
After making GFX adjustment mentioned above, I was able to get gold on my 5 toons in 20 minutes.
I also know 4-5 people who weren't able to get skiing badges until I recommended them to try adjusting GFX. After they adjusted their GFX, they got their badges with easy as well. -
No, I haven't assumed that OP is AE baby.
OP just caught me somewhat "unprepared".- I don't remember seeing anyone coming that close to requesting PL in the "Player Questions" forum or in any other forums (that I'm usually reading) for that matter.
- Another thing that caught my attention was willingless to jump servers for play opportunities.
...And if people think that my original response was rude, then I'm glad I haven't posted link to another video instead. That video, I planned to link to initially, is way more harsh than one I ended up posting.
As far as judgements about community go, OP completely missed the point, unless they think that NordBlast is Entire Community
