Dunno. I'll try to pay attention to that next time
  2. I was playing my Mind/Rad solo lately and noticed strange thing that, on occasion, the boss I was trying to confuse would aggro on me.

I'm running with SuperSpeed and Stealth IO in Sprint. These toggles are always on. So, my stealth radius is 65 feet (35 from SS and 30 from Stealth IO). I also monitor PvE stealth radius in combat monitor.

It looks like Stealth IO is getting suppressed sometimes while I'm using confuse. In such instances PvE stealth radius in combat monitor is dropping to 35 feet from 65 feet, I'm getting into perception radius of the boss I'm trying to confuse and he aggroes on me.

Confuse is 5 slotted with Coercive Persuasion (everything except single aspect confuse), no damage procs there.

It happened with different bosses (Freaks, Sky Raiders, Council, Vanguard, etc.) and at different levels (15-50). These bosses weren't part of any ambush, just regular spawns.

It didn't happen often, maybe 1-5% of the times, but it was enough to catch my attention.
  3. While it is far away, you can collect alot of "Present" inspiration during New Year event. These work as tier 3 when you solo, but their effect is multiplied if you on team and teammates and their pets are nearby when you using such inspiration. It is very easy to HARD cap defence or damage with just single inspiration.

You got it backwards. Rikti invasion happens only on 1 side, while halloween event (either zombie or apocalypse) happens on both sides at the same time.

By the way, in the strategy for pulling the AV's is it typical to go for them in a particular order? We could not for the life of us, pull less than two of them.
On pull STFs I've been on, we usually worked from the right. It is possible to pull 1 of them, but you have to watch for others. If you can't handle more than 1, then retreat to hospital if more than 1 came, and try pull again.

Also works with the Itf nictus but will work better if you have 3 ppl that can perma confuse as the nictus are healing you instead of Romy. Or better yet perma Confuse Romy and let him kill the nictus for no Stun when you kill him.
Healing nictus has something like 200 mag protection to confuse. Good luck with perma confuse.

Quoted statement sounds too ambiguous to me. It can be interpreted as either enhancements were removed or some aspects of these enhancements stoped working.

This has been a Public Service Announcement.
I doubt that HOs will be removed from the power. At least one aspect of the power is enhanced legitimately.

    For example:

Enhancing range of ID with centriole isn't exploit while enhancing damage resistance is.

Enhancing endurance of Maneuvers with Enzyme isn't exploit while enhancing defence is.

Depending on your level, Crey's Folly and Peregrine Island are your best bets. If you're just 40, you can find several Nemmies on the roofs of Crey's Folly, roughly around the center in the map. They'll be around 35-39, so definitely manageable.

If you're higher than that, there's plenty of Nemmies around the docks in Peregrine Island, and they're a lot easier to find than those in Crey's folly.

And of course there's the option to just grab a radio mission with Nemmies, that would probably be the easiest way to do this.
You can also try Eden. Nemesis are usually on the right as you entered
  12. I heard somewhere, that it would require making substational changes to the game engine in order to fix TP veng stacking. It seems, last night RSF somewhat confirmed this point of view.

Looks like, the way devs decided to deal with TP veng stacking was to cancel selection of dead teammate while they being TPed.

Still we were able to stack veng at least twice.

One time was by accident: 2 players hit veng around the same time (no TPing of dead body). You can see on this pic the VEAT veng stacked with Leadership veng:

Second time we were determined to stack veng and we succeded in it as well. Again there was no TPing. You can see on this pic the VEAT veng stacked with double stacked Leadership veng:

So, server doesn't prevent stacking the veng. It is still possible to do if you avoid TPing and get lucky with timing.

While it wasn't tested, I believe, it is possible to stack veng even with TP, but would require much better coordination between TPer and vengers, and it wouldn't be as reliable as it was before fix.

We had a lot of success with cold/ice defender on our MO runs.
  14. So, Mystic Fortune Prompt isn't removed? That's shocking...

I believe the reason the exploit worked was because with 2 or more people firing the buff simultaneously, the system saw that the player did not already have a buff, and applied them simultaneously.

As mentioned, the fix to this was probably something that required changing the way another part of the system works, so might have been harder or lower priority until now.

On a side note, does the same functionality apply to multiple copies of different Vengeance powers? What if there was a VEAT using theirs at the same time as somebody with the Leadership pool? Does it block one of them from being applied?
Leadership and VEAT veng wasn't stacking before, except for TP stacking.

Y'know, forget that. If I need updated map pack files, I'll get 'em from someone who already downloaded them. I'm not going through the hassle of registering (especially when it's that frustrating) just to download a map file that used to be so easy to get.
    Hmm,

    worked for me

Heh. I assumed that they already have copy in new location.
  19. There is quicker way to move it to different directory if you aren't afraid editing registry.

Coh registry settings are located in the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic\Coh"
You need to change "Installation Directory" to point to new CoH directory. After that you only need to update "Target" and "Start In" in the shortcut to point to new coh directory as well.

    That's it.

i'd thank the devs but given this would have never happened if the mitos weren't "fixed" in the first place... it's good to have a more sensible mag applied to the mitos for an 8 person TF.

As an aside, I would have been fine with the mag 53 if the lgtf were given a much higher merit reward (maybe 35 to 40 merits?). What ever happened to risk VS Reward?
Shush, it is was nerfed from 38 to 36 not too long ago.

While I hate this prompt by itself, the most annoying thing about it, that this prompt will popup even you already have fortune buff.

Can you, Devs, do better job and stop spamming popup if player is already buffed? If you for whatever reason decided to put it back, at least place burden on the caster instead of the receiver of this buff.

We've done MoBSF without stalker, but we had MM, IIRC

Otherwise people may miss out on Mission completion bonus, or even just the xp/inf involved in killing the enemies.

Some people argue they are not entitled to the points because they were not in the mission yet and didn't help kill the enemy or whatever, but as a team you should be helping each other get points, not remove enemies/objectives so they get less. If you wanted to solo the mish, then why even join a team?
It depends on team, YMMV. My friends and I mostly doing speed runs and it is irrelevant for us whether we getting mission completion bonus or not. Very often, when mission requires clickie or something like that, only one person will enter that mission while rest of the team will gather at next mission door or zone (2nd mission of Numina, AP and KR of Manti, 2nd mission of Ice Mistral, etc.)
