Looks like my Badge-Hunter Log in doesn't work anymore... (At least I think I had one)
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
If you had a forum login, that's your new login.
If you didn't have a forum login, you have to create a new one.
Either way, all your toons and all your badge tracking has been wiped.

Trying to download if from the new Badge-Hunter site gives me a "[#10852] You do not have permission to download this file" with a "You are not signed in".

I spent 10 minutes and multiple attempts trying to register and it kept failing the registration, saying the highlighted fields needed to be correct but there were no highlighted fields.
Y'know, forget that. If I need updated map pack files, I'll get 'em from someone who already downloaded them. I'm not going through the hassle of registering (especially when it's that frustrating) just to download a map file that used to be so easy to get.

To be honest though, I'm not even going to bother with it - I don't see the point in going through the hassle of registering or even logging in just to d/l it. Thus far, the downloads have taken a big step back in terms of useability.
As it is, I found an old login I had (different name, different email, etc.) and logged in with that, which is what I base my observations on. Even with an account that should be able to d/l, if I need to get the files in the future, I'm more apt to ask people I know if they have 'em handy and could email them to me rather than dealing with the site.

Just so you guys know, I didn't want to register, but I wanted the new map pack, so I googled i17 vidiotmaps and found someone had it on a megaupload.com page.
I don't suggest doing this unless you know what you're doing and have antivirus software you trust.

I don't know if you are supposed to register to be able to download the files or not. Some in this thread have reported that they can download without needed to be registered/logged in, while others have not.
Sending a PM to Beef, and asking about it, (and directing him to this thread) should get an answer. If it turns out that no registration is supposed to be required to download the files, then he can try to find the bug and fix it. If it is, then we can take it from there.

You know.. the fact that both the challange question AND the little random generated code keep failing for me while I attempt to register is really getting on my nerves...
