- Playing on larger teams can drop them more often
- Fighting Bosses, EBs or AVs can drop the large insp
- Buy them off the Market*
- Get the Intern Day Job**
Edit:** This Day Job is logging out for 21 days in Portal Court Buildings, then logging out from their to charge the DJ Power. It will grant you a large Tier 3 Insp on mish complete for a while.

I keep a running bid for 10x Good Luck at 666 per on one of my toons. She always has around 50 or so as she's a katana and needs the oomph to get her defense up at the beginning of a fight.
I'm one of the people who wastes inspirations, blasting them all at once, when I get to WW so I can fit my GLs.
And I know, GL is sometimes worth much more, sometimes much less. It's the much less when I get them as I don't need them right now.
I can't justify the price difference between a teir 2 and 3. Maybe if I was squishier and was doing a long mish so that I couldn't carry what I needed easily.
And for heals, etc, look into temporary powers. There are some great ones. I keep a phase on my toons [also get Hyperphase from Warburg] and I'm planning on keeping the endurance one around. It'd allow me to play something besides /wp all the time. [though I love me some /wp]
I only use def and accuracy. I also combine three a lot into them. If you don't have empty slots for new insp, you won't get any new insp.
You can use merits to buy them or buy the cheap ones on the market and combine 3 of a type to the ones you want.

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
The tier 2 insps start dropping pretty commonly in the middle to upper levels, so it's pretty easy to stock up on them just by playing.
Especially if you're playing a character that can get away with not using them constantly, just keep several open spaces and make regular trips back to your base to put them into storage (and you can combine them to get exactly the ones you want). I keep our base storage pretty much fully stocked with tier 2's just by playing my scrappers/tanks with a few open slots.
[You can also do Kora Fruit missions in the Shadow Shard if you are on hero side to very quickly refill your storage bins]
Tier 3's are a bit harder as they basically only drop from Bosses and above. So the only real option is to fight lots and lots of Bosses+ (at least as far as I've found).
We keep one storage bin for Tier 3's, but for the most part, the SG just relies on Tier 2's for everyday play and only pull out the Tier 3's on special occassions.

Every couple of weeks I take a couple of characters and fill all their market slots with lowball bids on tier 3 insps and then go away. The next time I log them in all the bids will have filled; I take them and toss them into base storage.
I always have 30 or more tier 3 purples, greens, blues and oranges in storage as well as random tier 1-2 wakies, breakfrees and so forth.

Just a warning- there's not much of a market in inspirations at all. I think they're badly underpriced, and nobody bothers to sell them as a result.
I personally think that mediums "should" be worth at least 5000 each and larges "should" be worth at least 50,000 each. Probably more if you want to actually encourage people to sell them at Wents...I have no problem paying 55,908 for a medium purple or (what's the Break Free's big brother called? Escape?) antimez.

A lot of people don't consider 5k worth the effort, and even 50k isn't worth much of the effort (I, personally, just drop them at WW/BM for 1 inf, to get the badges and I'd never use them anyways).

While it is far away, you can collect alot of "Present" inspiration during New Year event. These work as tier 3 when you solo, but their effect is multiplied if you on team and teammates and their pets are nearby when you using such inspiration. It is very easy to HARD cap defence or damage with just single inspiration.

There is enough market in large insps that I strongly recommend selling them. I've moved phenominal lucks for up to 500k, but the usual price is closer to 200k-250k. The other Tiers 3s run between 50k and 100k reliably. I've never had a large sell for less than 50k nor had one sit in the shelf longer than 2 days.
In terms of getting them: +1 and +2 enemies drop med/large quite often. +2 bosses are my preferred source of large insps.

Note that if you are a super-speeder or super-jumper (as opposed to a flyer or teleporter), you'll probably want to pick up a temp power jet pack from the vendor there.
Getting around using just the gravity geysers (while fun sometimes) can be a lesson in frustration.
(and the jet pack vendor is relatively new...in the "old days" the SS was rough on non-flyers)

Yeah, I'm very familiar with the Shard (Faathim in 2:10, Dr. Q in 3:20 :P). I just have never tried actual mission arcs there, only the TFs. Thanks though

So..simple question. What's the best way to stock on those? I play mostly squishies so I eat through my small inspirations like crazy.. if there's a good dependable way to stock on mid and big ones that would save me a lot of trouble. so yeah, any ideas?
