    1. as mentioned VEATs have had access since they were introduced, they do not have access to APPs though

    2. VEATs can fill a LOT more roles IMO than khelds, i have a soldier who is more of a hover blaster which also has good resist debuffs and some pets, crabs can essentially be masterminds with all the pets they have access to, forts can act as doms or blasters, the only one thats really stalker like are bane and night widow trees

    i think adding new giant monsters and improving the reward given from a GM would make them more worthwhile

    i know the devs wouldnt want us to farm them, but what other point are they for aside from badges

    GMs shouldnt give a piddly amount of inf which is the same as a boss ranked foe

    an even con AV gives about 138,000 inf if you solo it in sg mode, while soloing AVs is not an easy task, most poepple dont do it due to time/reward ratio, soloing a GM can be approximately as hard as an AV to solo (i say approximate because they are in general weaker offensively but stronger in terms of hp and regen)

    if a GM awarded the same amount as an even con AV poeple would definitly be wanting to fight them some more and not because "oh i needed this badge for an accolade"

    i used to always go and fight GMs when i saw them pop up, but soloing or teaming to kill a GM is usually a lot more work than an AV and like 1/8th the reward, if GMs rewards were changed to match that of an even con AV then it would definitly give incentive to fight them

    if you solo even con AV its approx 138,000 inf

    if you have 8 man team to kill even con AV its approx 30,000 per person due to there being 8 people and the slight xp bonus a 8 man team gets

    if you have multiple teams attacking the monster then that would prolly get reduced compared to how much dmg your team did (like how it currently works for GMs)

    i dont think its over-rewarding, but it would definitly give more incentive to fight them
  4. i have about 20 lvl 50s, but only 4 or 5 of them have anything past the alpha, i got at least 2-4 toons which have at least alpha slotted

    my main has tier 4 alpha, 3 tier 4 lore, tier 4 judgement, tier 4 interface, and tier 4 destiny

    my ill/cold has tier 4 alpha, and tier 3 of the rest of the slots (working on more lore though)

    my dark/stone brute has tier 4 alpha and at least tier 3 of others (has 2 tier 3 lore)

    my earth/fire dom has tier 4 alpha and tier 2 destiny and tier 2 lore, and tier 3 judgement and tier 3 interface

    my mind/fire dom only has tier 4 alpha and a tier 1 or 2 interface slotted

    my spine/elec scrapper has at least tier 3 in everything except lore


    as for my other toons i havent gotten to them yet, but due to my personal randomness i do not want to advance them past alpha unless they have a tier 4 in alpha (since i can get alpha with shards)

  6. once i21 is here it wont really be relevant anyway since upon finishing the tutorial we will be able to choose if we want to go red or blue

    so if you want to make hero ATs on redside, either PL them to 20 for alignment mishs or just wait till i21 and then roll them as fresh villains
  7. on victory so far ive gotten anti antimatter and bunker buster, have made 4 failed attempts at avoids the green stuff and not have had any attempts at loves a challenge
  8. yeah as mentioned all of the incarnate abilities are unaffected by rech even from the spiritual alpha

    there are only 2 versions of lore pets which can have 10 min rech

    partial radial which has the buff pet and LT pet and the buff pet has an attack power

    and radial superior which is 1 boss pet (duration only 3 min 20 sec) and untouchable buff pet

    i think this is improvement, but still kind of sucks, i think ALL of them should be at 10 min

    ive been playing since 2006 and i dont think ive ever been able to target myself

    i think you may be misreading something, do you happen to play a merc mastermind? you might be confusing the medics heal with another heal power

    or using aid self to heal self and not remembering

    trying not to rule out any possibilities

  12. im fairly sure this is working as intended and has been for a long time

    the standard duration on most tier 9s is 3 minutes which is why it feels like it lasts too long (which when solo it does drag on, on teams they have the dps to kill them through it)

    the main reason i dont pvp is because i dont like it, but a lot of the reason i dont like it is because of all the retarded nonsense you have to deal with in pvp zones

    heal decay and travel suppression are more annoying than barrier usage, and as mentioned its like MoG, 10 sec of semi invulnerability, then after that DR drivies it so hard into the ground the 30 sec of +30% is more like +10 due to DR, and after that its basically negligible

    for SR toons this is the only thing that has even allowed them to go into a pvp zone again, so be thankful there are poeple to fight instead of walking into ghost towns

    i doubt it would carry over, to me unlocking the slot is like unlocking a new level, once its done its done (ie to me unlocking all the current slots is like reaching level 50 again)
  15. i run a redside group if you happen to be (or want to be) a villain or a rogue alignment

    (only reason im asking is because with side switching never know what side AT will be since i have several villains who are normally hero ATs)

    i dont really have a lot of problem with it cause the launcher the steam version is using still sees the test and beta installs i have so i can use either launcher to get to them

    so i basically got through this with the minimum effort lol, it did puzzle me as to why it redownloaded the entire game

    true but putting up new currencies with all the conversion stuff complicates the system and makes it harder for casual people to keep up

    i also agree with what lazarillo says about the loves a challenge badge, thematically it is fine, but the no deaths part is superficial

    in click powers it will only chance to proc when you click it
  22. the only problem with creating new currencies is that it does not solve the stockpiling problem

    my main stockpiled 225 shards before i20 (im sure there were poeple out there with even more), but i had at least tier3s slotted in all my powers by day 2, so the bottleneck to slow poeple down didnt really help all that much and just overcomplicated the system
  23. ive been using the steam version of the game for awhile now, just been launching the game through the ncsoft updater so it never registered anything on steam

    i did notice the redownload, and the only thing it screwed up was my game graphics options (still kept all my keybinds and other options, i just had to change game from running full screen at 1024x768)

    other than that i didnt really have any problems with it except now the other ncsoft updater i originally installed wont detect the steam install since it has its own nclauncher program now

    (maybe my sister is telling the truth when tech stuff just decides to work for me mostly problem free lol)

    whats odd though is ive actually used a power analyzer on her before when she did get the buff, and i think it only showed like a 9% dmg buff or something nearly insignificant, i also didnt really see any oddities of her tohit either

    so im not really sure what is buffing her
  25. 3 waves is the standard for dev made mish objectives

    but here in AE land defendable objects only have 1 default ambush but you can add more ambushs to the object for like different % of the objects hp or when the objectives is completed (i think i havent really toyed with this that much i know it works like that for boss objectives and destroyable object objectives)
