    Regulation? each government can't do its own regulations...that's what they exist for

    Yes, most of the sniper's ability to actually land the shot is in the gun, the scope, and the spotter. All of his martial training went into getting into position and not being seen.

    Don't get me wrong, not anyone can be a "sniper." But anyone with that gun, scope, and spotter telling him what to do can make that shot.
    You mean anyone could pull that shot off target when they continue to breath through the trigger squeeze or change grip when they anticipate the shot because they haven't been trained.

  9. So I'm running some portal missions and I get tot he one where it's me and States against the clockwork in Pretoria. I decide to pull some mobs into a tiny cell like room to get the most out of his AoE (I think Hammer of Justice it's the one where he smashes the ground and yellow bolts arc to the nearby enemies). Well after opening with hurl he does the move putting serious hurt on the robots...and then he does it a second time in a row.

    Doe she doe this when villains fight him as well? It seems horribly unfair if he can pull this power out in rapid succession whenever he feels it'll get laughs.
  10. I haven't seen any code for this yet so this idea is full of assumptions.

    From what I've seen weapons draw is handled on a "set basis" if you drew a weapon from a set no redraw is needed for another attack from the set. My idea would be to retool the system so weapon draw mode is set per attack. In this way if the mode that set the weapon draw is compatible with the new attack no draw would happen.

    ex:
    Broadsword 0
    Axe 1
    Pistol 2
    Dual Pistols 3
    Mace 4
    Energy Mace 5

    Single Pistol attacks (such as temp powers) can animate with no redraw from modes 2 and 3 while Dual pistol attacks are set to redraw if not mode 3.

    Walk through

    My Brute uses Mace Blast with no weapon drawn and he is set to drawn 5. His next attack is Whirling Mace. Whirling mace is set to skip draw if either in mode 5 or 4 so it goes straight into activation.

    The same Brute reverses order, Whirling Mace sets mode to dawn 4. When he uses Mace Blast he will redraw and be set to mode drawn 5 and any ranged or melee mace attacks that follow will not cause a 3rd redraw.

    What this would also do is stop redraw if a temp power is cycled in that uses the same weapon type.

    IF this was workable the main draw back I see is temp powers preventing the use of a chosen customized weapon if they use the same type. If you open up on some BP with holy shotgun shells with an AR hero you would be stuck on your old AR model unless you already had your customized rifle out before you attacked.

    I think I got it all out of my head please start deconstructing.

    You are right. Blasters need some sort of control or self buffs to help them defend themselves.

  16. The only logical alternative I see to a binary exp system is a variable one.

    Think you are going too fast lower exp gain to about 80%.

    Then you could add a toggle option for exp gain modifiers as well ^_^.

    ahhh thanks

    They could always say "screw clipping and quality" and undo the work they've done to make some powers work with weapons and simply have the weapons out if you've the power recently.
