This ruins my plans to let loose on people I don't like and let dem know what I tink o' dem.

If you guys are pitching for Valve to buy this game, they need a reason to buy it. Pitch the idea that they could do Workshop support for this game in the form of costume pieces that players can buy (which Valve then gets a small bit of the money from).

The only thing I think I had anything to do with involved the giant freaking holes in First Ward. No one on Beta (that I know of, at least) noticed that nearly a fifth of the map was not properly aligned which resulted in massive holes.

Some of you I like, most of you I hate, all of you I'll miss.

The introduction was the best part.

Da Battalyun iz made fer one fing: fightin' an' winnin'!

There were a lot of medieval weapons that were based off of farm tools. Flails, for example.

The problem with a new character model is that not only would they have to model a new character but likely every other costume option, and even the pieces that wouldn't need to be completely remade (like a belt, for instance) would still likely need to be altered to fit the new body. This would also require new textures. A new body would also most likely require a new rig, a new rig requires new animation, etc. You typically can't just replace a major asset in something like a character model without the side effects of this major change cascading downwards (which somebody mentioned already).
Also, there's the problem of this game becoming "too HD". Some people have lower end computers but can play this game just fine, even with things like Ultra Mode existing. That's because Ultra Mode is optional. A new character model couldn't be an optional feature and would impact the entire playerbase, for better and for worse.
Edit: Basically, a new character model would be immensely time consuming and I just don't think (but I certainly don't know for sure!) that the developer's have the time to implement such a major change. -
I understand what he's saying: 60 PVP Rep per purple recipe.
Nope. That's way too low.
If this were ever added it would be 400 for one purple recipe. Even that compared to the amount of Emp/Alignment merits is still too low, IMO. -

I would personally love to see a psychic epic for melee ATs, something like...
Subdual
Dominate
Levitate/Mental Blast
Drain Psyche*/Psychic Scream
Psionic Tornado
Levitate over Mental Blast just because telekinesis is awesome and, IMO, much cooler than "mind bullets", which you can also get via Psionic Tornado (or Psychic Scream).
*Drain Psyche is the best fit for the AoE debuff powers seen in Arctic, Earth, Pyre, etc. Mastery as no other psychic themed debuff exists, but personally, I just like the concept of Drain Psyche. Obviously it would have to be toned way down, but for anyone who thinks it would be too OP regardless of how weakened it could be, I think Psychic Scream is a decent enough viable alternative for this slot. -
One of the only powers that I think could replace +max HP with +Absorb is Overload from Energy Aura, since the description says "This Energy Aura is so powerful, that it can even absorb some damage..."
But I don't think sets should just get Asborb just because they can. -

IDF Ranger? As in the minion? At least the Olympian Guard has a semi unique body type, but as far as I can tell, the IDF Rangers do not and we have access to all of their costume pieces (I suppose you can't get their colors perfect, but still).

Quote:The cut and paste picture with text on it is not the only form of memes, unfortunately, those are [now] the most popular.Went to the 'meme' website in the first post, looked it up in Wiki (both kinds) and I have to say I still didn't get it.
The problem, I guess, is that I tend to ignore most if not all puns (seriously, is there such a good thing as a Good Pun?), and anything that I see as an attempt to subvert a statement or picture from its original meaning.
When I was looking at the memes that had been submitted to that website, I Did Not Understand Any Of Them! And I took the time to read/look at the top 100 listed. Not One Clue.
A lot of the earlier memes were contained to a particular website and they were essentially jokes that were popular on said websites (and there were a couple of other websites that also had memes like this); however, with the explosion of those websites and the creation of newer websites, memes have devolved from being jokes to just sentences that are supposed to be inherently funny (they're not). -
There are a few memes that are actually funny, but they're either so obscure that no one would know that it's a meme or they're NSFW.
Either way, don't know how I feel about an event that encourages the use of memes. -
The backpack from the mecha set also doesn't shoot out flames when you jump.
Also, is there a reason why the fire particles are white instead of blue like with the rocket boots and the various jetpacks and everything else? -
Quote:It's possible to complete his story and use his AoE powers constantly. I was able to do it but I also have a cool computer, or whatever. Still, I was getting tremendous lag spikes and, honestly, there aren't -that- many enemies on the map. There's gotta be some kind of butt coding going on in that mission. The Personal Story for Cole still mapserves when using any of his AoE powers against the Arachnos army. Frankly, I think it's just the problem of having too many enemies crammed into too small a map. I get it's trying to feel epic, but it's causing -massive- lag and seems like the mapserve happens whenever you try to do an AoE attack on more than a small handful of enemies at a time. I'd really suggest just cutting the mob count in half and seeing if that helps. Neat story otherwise though.

You did use his same powers, though. Staff/EA is pretty much Gambit. To top it off the character is also a mutation origin.

I've PVPed pre-i13 and post-i13 and while PVP is still all fun and good, I did, and still do, prefer pre-i13 PVP.
