There's been a fair share of stupid tells or so tho. Here's an example:
Random person: Can i jion ur taem plz?
me: Sorry on a TF.
Random person: Wat 1?
me: ITF
RP: can i jion pls????
me: we've started.
RP: cmon i wanna join!!!!!111
me: uh yea... hang on i'll send an invite.
RP: koooool!!11

(10 mins pass)

RP: invite?
me: oh i sent one, didn't you get it?
RP: nope.
me: you must be bugged, best log out and wait 15 mins before logging back on. Happens sometimes.

(here i take the opportunity to actually see what level he is... lvl 26 blaster, great)
(12 mins pass, yes i timed him )

RP: bak, invite?
me: you didn't stay off for 15 mins, you're totally bugged now, better stay off for 30 mins to be sure!
RP: f**k this f**king gme!!!!111

never heard from him again... perhaps i was mean, but hey, couldn't help myself. But people like that kinda tick me off... alot.

I don;t think i've ever received a really nasty tell, in fact I'm generally very nice in myt ells, thanking people for replys etc and always saying what levels we're fighting and what sort of bad guys when asking if they'd like to join us.


ooh, wait, i do have one. When i was on union, not long after the DXP event cos my Nrg/Dev blaster was still on union I joined a team with a Fire/Ice Tanker as lead. he was apt to drop ice patch (the teensy tiny one ice melee gets) then use burn and after a few mobs he suddenly lets out into team chat 'please stop using KB powers and pushing the bad guys off my ice patch'. I kinda replied that it was rather difficult, especially as just about the worst attack for it, energy torrent is a really good AoE attack. i stopped using torrent but he again asked me to stop using KB attacks. I very nicely said that as an energy blaster I can;t really stop and he asked me to not use any powers at all. I started speaking in tells to some of the other team members who dared me to use energy torrent on the next mob. So i did, and he kicked me from the team!!!! I received a rather foul mouthed tell from said tanker that turned the air blue and continued in broadcast to the whole of IP. The other members of his team made their excuses and joined up with me!

But Sister Psyche has red hair and it totally hot. Julianne Moore, well, isn't.

To expand on this thread slightly, who should play Sister psyche?

Have you tried updating to the latest version of directx as well? if you have vista you'll also need the vista nvidia hotfixes.

Time bomb, never even picked it on my /dev blaster. Seemed like a waste of a power pick. i do have trip mine and Gun Drone but if they halved the activation time or made it the same as the malta Engineers I'd be happy. Any increase to it's duration would be welcome too!

Well, it has to be said, if they do have plans that'll either mean CoH 2.0 is in development as we speak, they have plans to create a sequel or there's a graphics upgrade planned. In 5 years time the in game graphics just won't cut it, never mind in ten years.

I know, I know, everyone wants to see more about the actual issue, but if a) I'd had access to closed beta, and b) used it to post stuff before NCNC said it was okay, I'd be a dead woman. So while I wish I could give the fans what they want, no such luck. (And I am entirely too arrogant to use the footage that they DID post to MMORPG.COM about Pain Domination and Shields... I use footage that *I* shoot!)

HOWEVER...

As is also part of my usual tradition, I'll be doing a full-on, no-holds-barred, "holy [censored] that's what it looks like!" trailer for I-13 as soon as I'm able. So fear not, you'll get what you want eventually.

To everyone who thinks NCNC should just hire me, don't I wish. However, I took it as a good sign that I was invited to present at HeroCon 2008 on how to make movies, so who knows, perhaps in the not-too-distant future...

There's a Defiant Events channel which is usually pretty busy. I'd imagine there'd be something similar on union.

Sorry to re-raise this but having lots of fun with CI in the Zombie raids. I've seen 8 chain shocks so far and am hoping for more soon!

OH MY GOD. Recharge time reduced, heal stays the same, Damage is up. Along with the changes to EA this could make my DM/EA a pretty hardcore fighting machine!

P.S. Agree about midnight Grasp. If it was just all up frotn damage I'd agree but it's also DoT. If they completely front loaded the damage and left the immob I'd be happy with that.

I do think that personal vaults would resolve the matter and means you could store items indefinitely.

I'm just waiting for the 'We're sorry Union broke Atlas, have a weeks worth of 8x XP' announcement.

I think the rewards are stacking from last years cs I got Ostentatious when I only picked up 7 or 8 cossies this year

heh, my lvl 31 WS couldn't even take down a single Zombie LT in human form, although she does have yellow enhancements.

There was invasion about 30 minsa go In Peregrine, and a lot of fun it was too! Only small thing is i have all the badges already on one toon, including a funky pumpkin helmet!

I've noticed the event salvage drops have been very thin on the ground this year. I've had one on all my toons and spent an easy 3 hours T&T'ing.

Wait a sec, isn't the Villain Respec TF doable in about 25 minutes whereas the hero Respec takes about 90 minutes? this is UNFAIR!

Only thing is just that I don't see Tankers as the 'damaging' melee AT, so the Against All Odds power (Rise to the Challenge, but +dmg instead) doesn't suit them.

Though, I saw a use for it with DM on Brutes, since it both aggros enemies and thereby generates more Fury, and it could make up for the lack of burst damage DM has.

Dark melee won't be usable with Shields unless the animations have changed significantly as it uses some two handed animations.
