Funny you mention this.
I've been thinking about something similar for a while, especially in relation to teams and other events. If there was a channel where we could put a shout out about things that are going on (not just events but teams and TFs/SFs and tournaments as well) would it work and be popular?
I believe that Union Badgehunters used to be similar in some ways but I'm not sure any more. The only downside I can think of is that it takes numbers to work and would be reliant on lots of people signing up and taking part. But it could be an excellent way to organise activities without relying on the forum.

There's a Defiant Events channel which is usually pretty busy. I'd imagine there'd be something similar on union.

Sals Badgehunters has sort of this function as well as being the new badgehunter channel.
It began as being a substitute channel for Union Badgehunters, and when a rogue operative took control over UBH... Well we moved over to Sals Badgehunters.

Hehe yeah I have to keep Defiant Events in a seperate Tab for all the madness that goes off in there nowadays. Not sure if it's an open channel or if it requires an invite to join....should imagine it's the former.

Just a quick question, is there a channel for players to shout out player events thats happening?
If so, can i join? xD
If not, lets make one! Would be much easier to have a channel to declare when a cossie contest, pvp contest, hide and seek etc would be happening instead of using the forums to organise only the big ones.
