Confused about costumes in ToT & Treat Ratios

Right, Since I Started playing about 1.5 hours ago, I've have two treats (that's not what this is about though).

However, I've just been granted the Ostentatious badge on a trick. I've said before that this happened, but with this character, I was keeping an eye on it.

So why are costume pieces getting awarded with Tricks? I didn't get a costume drop and my inspiration tray was full, so I don't know if it was a duplicate (although I would assume so).

Anyone got any ideas?

Edit: Okay, That's 100 doors clicked and 100 tricks? Sure, it could be random, but.... well, actually, it might just be random. I did have two treats earlier, but it seems well off today.

It does seem to be a little biased towards trick than treat, but I might just be unlucky too

I think the rewards are stacking from last years cs I got Ostentatious when I only picked up 7 or 8 cossies this year

But I'm getting the badge when I'm picking up Tricks... and that character didn't exist last year, so I still want to know what gives?

I got Ostentatious on a Trick, but I've noticed that I quite often get Insps dropping on a Trick, so maybe just cos you get monsters, doesn't mean you can't get presents too...

I just wish there were more vampires...

Finally got the vamp badge on my currently most active character. I don't believe she has ever seen a spirit. Is there a minimum level they spawn at?

Well I'm playing with my top level characters down the way, so the lowest I've been is level 12 - I'm fairly sure I did have some ghosts with that character.

It's been confirmed by Lighthouse that there's a bug with the spirit's spawn rate but no chance of a fix before the event ends. Perhaps it could be run again sometime soon?

for me, it's more trick and being chased by the most powerful witches, then a threat.
and if i finally get one, it's ether a stupid one or a duplicate of a stupid one.......not really random ill say.

[/ QUOTE ]The duplicate theory is correct. If you look at Paragonwiki, there are only 33 costumes available, however Ostentaious badge is awarded for 50 costumes. So it goes without saying that you could get the badge before you have all 33 costumes.

the cure to most of these issues are to drink more spirits and turn a few tricks

Much bias towards the tricks tho I think and a certain imbalance in terms of risk vs reward but good notwtihstanding
