same error message here, but the game doesn't crash ...
it just stops at the loading screen !
no loading, no loading animation, no sounds, nada 
seems to happen only when u try to go to Atlas tho (by whatever means, Ouro, tram or direct accessÃ
tested it with 2 toons, one i sent to Atlas -> same problem
the other to Skyway, then Galaxy, then Skyway again, then Hollows ... works fine !
conclusion: Atlas is borked
*edit* didn't see your post there FFM ...
it's been 45 minutes now that i first encountered the error, and my toon Battle Freak is still logging out ...
and i petitioned it half an hour ago 
same problem here.
i posted a message yesterday about the lag gettin rediculous last few days,also i have troubles loggin in those last few days.
now i cant even log in anymore...
Give back our atlas!!!!

well I am thankful it's not just me that's having this problem, makes me feel better.
hmm looks like the American nickname of 'Borkoween 2008' for the event seems to be coming truer and truer each day...

I have just been onto Union to test this, and was able to log straight into Atlas and go via Ourobous. It may be that if you tried whilst it was down your character has become corrupted and will need deleting :P Only Joking.
In all seriousness it is up for me so I would petition it in game if I were you.

Customer Support emailed me this issue's been resolved
I'm just waiting for the 'We're sorry Union broke Atlas, have a weeks worth of 8x XP' announcement.

Ok game crashed for some unknown reason when trying to zone into Atlas from Oroborous (heading to Zombie invasion in Galaxy) on my Tanker, had to power off from the mains, reboot and restart CoX.
Now whenever I try to log into that particular character it always comes up with '<character> is still logging out' despite the fact I can still select other characters fine.
Do I just wait the standard 20min-30min auto log out time to pass and then be able to relog into this particular character or should I open a support ticket?
