the normal maintenance window on the website says this:

"City of Heroes has a server maintenance outage window reserved between 12pm-2pm British Time (13H00-15H00 Central European Time) on Thursday every week. During this time, you will not be able to access the game servers.

Please note: while we are reserving this two-hour period for maintenance updates, we will not necessarily require the entire two hours and additional updates may be scheduled outside this time-period as needed. We may also perform maintenance on additional servers, such as the web servers, message boards, or login servers."

Guess there overworked with the upcoming new issue and GR.... so it must have being a typo...

Today the red warning for the server maintenance said its a 12 hour window ?!!
Whats up with that ?

i was wondering if the valkyrie pack is also available for the windows version,and if i can buy it with the "pay safe card" payment option...?

or is it exclusive for the MAC ?!

i tryed pvp on test with my lvl 50 claws/regen,and i didnt like it at all.

not that i am a regular pvp player but i dropped in once in a while before i13 and had fun [being killed mostly] and even won sumtimes.

now my scrappy feels like it is broken, REGEN ?! ahem...

so i tryed pvp when i13 went live and the times ive bin in RV there wasnt even 1 pvp player...

please change it back and make a "i13 pvp area" for the peeps that like this broken pvp...?

i must agree with Mothers Love on the rest of it.

i hate MMO's where u need to grind all stuff that comes with ur lvl,and then have to sell it and start over again.

in coh is what u get for keeps,i dont have to sell my focus power when i become lvl40 and start lookin to get focus lvl41 sumwhere...

also i dont like midget and knights kinda games,this concept is used in so manny lord of the rings kinda games that its not interresting anymore.

i tryed wow once but was fed up with it in 1 day.
but the same i had with guild wars,these games based on that awfull grinding are just not my cuppa tea at all.

also coh is not that expansive like wow.[must buy the expansions]
my first impression with coh was "yeah! this is what im l00king for!"
but i am a superheroe freak and got so manny superheroecomics and movies collected from childhood that i think its just in my mutant genes...

i also loved [and still do] the gameplay in coh from the first second,surrounded by 8 warriors fightin all going down,instead of trying to slice 1 midget with a lill sword...

the fact that no one looks alike in coh is makin the game verry special compared to other MMO's.
and so is the XP system imo.

in coh u can build ur char from lvl 1 to 50,in other MMO's u start over and over again to grind to ur lvl,and start over and over again.

oh and if they decide to pull the plug on coh in a couple a years,im comin to the office with my mind troller and change there minds!!!!

pls remove the message that is poppin up every time when u enter a mish,on the trail account.
it pushes people away from the game.

why do we get this reminder "playing trail" so manny times during gameplay?
well thats what a friend of mine said... i didnt play a trail account recently,but can imagine that [like him] i would be fed up after 2 days playing and having that message over and over again, its horrible. [he says]

ye and i know cause i am Dutch,but even i am okay with all the things that they bring us.[and willing to pay for it]

i started playing this game in okt 2005 and im still hooked,but also verry gratefull that the game is still being renewed with issues and after those years still running.

but i do have 1 BIG complaint that i got from the start.
why arnt there more EU payment systems so we all CAN BUY the add ons and extras ?!
like the ideal or paysafecard payment options.
i know,i know... the pay safe card is used now,but i still need a dawm CC for a toon transfer!

imo if u introduce a game to Europe,NCsoft needs to make sure u bring it with EU payment systems and not with US payment options only.

it took years before the pay safe card was introduced here,and before that it was hard to get my hands on game time cards,and the GvE pack.

but im still verry pleased with the game...!

same here,and 4 of my SG buddys got it also every day now sinds the halloween event.
so i dont think its ur hardware.

we are every evening playing 2gether and we use teamspeak also every day.
we found out that its mostly when the zombies spawn,and it doesnt matter what map where in at that moment.

also when the zombies spawned in the area where i am, ineed 2 get out cause i cant normally play anymore because of the lag it gives me. [but thats a graphical lag]

also in the last week ive seen manny players on team DC and havin "lost connection" issues.
so dont mess up ur pc,its most likely not ur hardware.

when activated its like the SS but looks like a surfboard and handles like fly.
the only difference is that ur character remains standing up like on the prestige power slide.

give it sum other new colored light effects and i think this will be AWSOME !

this way u can fight wile ur standing in mid air...

i discovered this game in oktober 2005,cant remember what issue...
its because im a supaheroe freak i love everything about this game,still do.
and im just verry gratefull for all te stuff we got/and get from the new issues.

actually its the only game i cant stop playing,so i have no time or interrest in other games...
but thats me.

im even sure that a new but now "g00d" marketing will still get lots of players in the EU.
thats my only complaint according to this game.

even now im still hookin up friends to coh/cov.
but most peeps react like: "didnt knew this exsisted..."

i can buy the game,buy the wedding and/or cyborg packs,the GvE version with the paysafe card,but cannot do a toon transfer...

i posted a message yesterday about the lag gettin rediculous last few days,also i have troubles loggin in those last few days.

now i cant even log in anymore...

i use paysafe cards to purchase additional game time,this works verry well.
but why cant i do a toon transfer with it ?
i dont own or want a credit card....

the lag and rubberbanding on union is really gettin amnoying after 3 days now.
its gettin worse every day now.

cant connect to DB server 5 or 6 times everytime i try to select union...
defiant never gives this problem.

or.... there bussy uploading and implementing i13 and it will go live 2morrow, then ive said nothing!

well this is what keeps a lot of people away from the game in the EU.

and its not verry honest to promise free game time that u even "sometimes" dont get...

cant buy the games anymore in my country in store,and the GvE pack u cant even find here.

only he had to BUY gametime to activate his account and then he got the extra month.

cause the free month game time does not activate his account.

same with the "free trial" if u play the trial u get ads every time u enter a mish or zone,and that will discourage people to buy it.

if i BUY a game and it SAYS 1 month free game time,then its idiotic that i have to PAY first before i get my FREE MONTH.

i wish it was like that on defiant,PVP is for PVP imo and i dont mind losing or gettin attacked even when im doing sumtin else there like farming.

but... RV is almost always empty on defiant...

i like RV,ive spend almost a week there farmin and pvp at the same time,with a team.
we even had sum nice 1v1 pvp fights in betweenies.

about the moanin in RV....
