I'm now in on firefox and may have narrowed down the problem. I went into my security settings and unchecked Block reported attack sites and Block reported web forgeries. Then I clicked on the bookmark and the forum loaded lightning quick. Other people can experiment more with this, and I'll try fiddling around myself later on but right now I need some sleep.

I already have about half those comics stuck away in a box somewhere And odds are that Amazon will drop the price by at least 20% more sometime in the next few months.

But then again I do prefer TPBs and hard cover collections to the individual issues. And I don't have many of those.

For me the show is good enough to enjoy watching but not good enough to miss if it goes away.

The thing I find funny about it is that the series which was supposed to be more light hearted and family oriented than Heroes has featured a lot more brutal killings. Including several by the heroic family.

I haven't been able to get to the forums in the last couple of days. This was using Firefox which is my usual browser. Right now I'm using Chrome and the forums loaded just fine. Same thing with IE9 which I tried just to see what would happen.

The biggest problem to a resolution is that the series was completely finished filming for the season when they heard they were canceled. And I haven't heard of any reshoots for the final episode. So if they weren't planning on wrapping up that plot line by the end of this season then it's not getting wrapped up.

I was happy with the episode. There is no telling how the communication stones really work so it's perfectly reasonable that the two would appear the first time that the stones were unable to communicate with each other.

On the other hand I didn't like the Greer subplot. I mean I did like it but it moved too slowly in some parts, too quickly in others and didn't really seem to have a reason to be there. I suspect that the writers came up with the River Song story idea but couldn't come up with a way to fill out the entire episode so they came up with a subplot that would neither hinder nor advance the primary story arc.

With the high fps but rubberbanding and jumping around of citizens it's pretty much guaranteed to be connection problems. Do as Kitsune suggested and check your latency. What you are hoping to see is a short green lawn. What you will probably be seeing is a tall green lawn with lots of yellow and red patches. Yellow means the ping time is really high. Red means lost packets.

There is also the possibility that it isn't an in route connection problem but rather one with your router. If you can do so then try connecting your computer directly to your modem rather than through the router and see if that eliminates the problem.

And lastly since your problem started around the time you started using the launcher make sure you have the launcher settings (accessed through file>settings) set to exit the launcher when game loads.

Have you run the aura missions on those characters? Purchased auras are available from creation but the older auras have to be unlocked by running the mission just like they always have been.

Looks like your drivers are corrupted. Although all of your drivers both video and audio are showing the exact same nonsensical date and I've never seen that before. Still I would uninstall the video drivers, use driver sweeper to clean them out, then install new drivers.

Once again an outstanding episode. If the previous episodes had been even close to the quality of these last 3 then she show would never have been canceled. They are definitely going out with a bang.

I just hope enough people are watching this to get it some follow up like the SG1 movies.

You got the sequence of events exactly right ThugOne. And I think they did the exterior docking in order to be different from all the other shows with shuttles. Every other science fiction show that has had shuttles has had them dock inside some bay which is a waste of perfectly good space. Space which would be at a premium in a spaceship.

I thought it was pretty much on the same level as Skyline. Entertaining enough to watch on cable or dvd but paying to see it in the theater was a mistake. Although I did like the scene with the alien where they are trying to figure out what can kill it. Absolutely brutal.

Well, I didn't really have a strong reason for it other than I don't care if my character is just slightly worse off than if I did the respec. Well, that and as others have said the current respec structure makes it a pita.

Now however I have a great reason for not respeccing. To drive you completely and utterly over the edge. Do you might if I global friend you so that I can keep you up to date on which characters I'm keeping the fitness pool on and what powers I'm missing out on as a result of this decision?

Actually I might respec those characters after all but if I do it will be to drop a couple powers in order to take jumpkick and group fly.

Hi Flash. How about a little background on the issue.

First, has the launcher ever worked for you or is this the first time you've tried it?
Have you tried deleting the current version of the launcher and redownloading and installing it?
Do you have City of Heroes in the standard directory or a custom directory?

It would also help to see the results of these two programs
CoHHelper and Hijackthis
Which might be able to single out what is causing the problem.

Post your answers and I'm sure that even if I don't get to it immediately somebody else will be here posting possible solutions soon afterwords.

We used to have more skin colors available. But that was changed because of players making their skin and tights colors identical thus creating "nude" characters. Pretty childish on the part of the players (many of whom are children thus excused) and Cryptic for overreacting.

Hmmmm... Maybe now that it's NCsoft we can get the full color spectrum back.

I'll repeat what others have said. The director's cut of Daredevil is far superior to the theatrical release. If you've only seen the messed up version you need to check out what the movie could actually have been.
