  1. Bay tells fans to "Chill..."

Somehow this doesn't instill any hope in me, I can't stand the attitude that comes off, but hey that's just me.
  2. Indeed, you should be able to access the arcs in Ouro.

    /This...

I can't stand the red text...

At least give us the option to turn the full box red text off now.
  4. Thanks again! Took a break for DxP to work on alts but I'll be back to getting my brute set up this week.

  6. It would work...

If players would start the trial without the maximum. DfB for instance, I routinely run it with the bare minimum and have no trouble at all, yet 10/10 times joining one instead of forming it, we have to wait for a full on 8 man team...

So, if you are waiting in the Q for DfB, if we start it with 6 players on our team, you'll be given the option to join. If we start it with max, you'll never get the option.

Since nobody starts trials without being max team size, the Q is largely useless.
5 minutes is the default wait, Pinnacles Q never changes from that 5.
  7. You might wanna avoid the area around Mrs. Liberty tomorrow then Carnifax...
  8. You've brought it up before.
    I've brought it up before.
Others have brought it up before.

I think it's safe to say, at this point, this suggestion has been echoed so many times the Dev's have to have it carved in the wall or something. Right beside the large plaque that reads: Players want customizable pool powers!

(Now watch, during tomorrows UStream one of the Dev's will respond to that question in chat with; "Hey thats a great idea, not something we've been aware of but I'll look into it...")

  9. Blaster buffs
    Martial Arts secondary for Blasters
  10. Simple answer time:

ViP - Better be included in the Sub! After all these years...

Premiums - Must be bought, once purchased can use it forever after.

Any ViP that drops, loses any customization, same as IO's. Unless at the appropriate reward tier.

I'm right there with ya for wanting Staff NAO, but...

Their old model for releasing issues wasn't much better than this, as we never would've seen this many sets in the given timeframe, under that model.

The fact is, the Paragon Market, gives them the ability to create powersets without having to have an issue tied to it (resource wise) which in turn allows them to keep creating powersets year round, provided they are selling, as each sold set gives them more resources and incentive to keep going.

It may seem like it on the outside, but further digging makes it clear, if we were still under the old 'release everything we've got ready for prime in a single issue' model, we wouldn't even be talking about BM or Staff as they never would've been created to begin with.

It's the ability to put things out without an issue that gives us all these new sets, more than double any previous year already! It's one thing to be upset that we have to keep waiting, which is a by-product of the increased awareness caused by open beta by the by, but try not to be angry with the way it's done. I think the term has something to do with horses that were gifts.
  12. I had a thought after my small diatribe earlier...

Could it really be any worse that TMNT III?

Not exactly problem solved. Since the problem here is the tainting of a childhood favorite.

Sure, not watching it means you don't have to suffer yourself.

Until you're 6 year old nephew starts raving about the alien turtles...

It takes what should be a bridge, a common ground for seperate generations to share, and turns it into the Star TrekOS vs Star TrekTNG culture.

Don't even get me started on how I felt when a dates 12 year old son started railing on me for having an original Optimus Prime in the box, saying those movies suck and anyone that likes transformers is lame. He'd never heard of a cartoon and wouldn't watch it at this point regardless.

Saying look the other way doesn't stop it from happening all around you. Head in the sand can only keep you feeling positive for so long.
The majority of his films get all the revenue they do, not from the fanboys, but from the 14-17 year olds that have no reference to the source material and are only looking for 'coolnesss' on their dates.

Fact is, these movies aren't made for us, and he knows it. We're just the icing on the cake that is the Twilight generation, a group he's a master at milking.

We can scream until we're blue in the face, fact is the more bizarre his changes to the source material, the more up in arms fanboys get over it, the more willing he is to go farther. The bulk of his target audience won't care at all and the rest of us will get so worked up over it, we'll have no choice but to see it just to validate our opinions.

    Win/Win for him and Hollywood.
    Business as usual.
  14. La Forge: Look, Mr. Scott, I'd love to explain everything to you, but the Captain wants this spectrographic analysis done by 1300 hours.
[La Forge goes back to work; Scotty follows slowly]

Scotty: Do you mind a little advice? Starfleet captains are like children. They want everything right now and they want it their way. But the secret is to give them only what they need, not what they want.

La Forge: Yeah, well, I told the Captain I'd have this analysis done in an hour.

Scotty: How long will it really take?

    La Forge: An hour!

Scotty: Oh, you didn't tell him how long it would *really* take, did ya?

La Forge: Well, of course I did.

Scotty: Oh, laddie. You've got a lot to learn if you want people to think of you as a miracle worker.
  15. My 1st question would be, do you have an additional $30 worth of points on your account now?

If you don't have more points than you should, and your NC billing summary shows (1) transaction of $15.00, then the mix-up may very well be on the banks end.

Hope you get a speedy resolution.

I've voiced my opinions on BM already, so I've already forgotten it exists and am looking forward to something I actually want.

    Bring on Staff Fighting!!

The going theory is they don't want to release yet another melee set before putting something else up for offer.

    In reality:

  21. I've seen a total of 1 of these little guys over the weekend.

    My reaction?

After the intial confusion wore off, my head slowly shook back and forth in mourning. Not even worth the facepalm dawg.
  22. Had that happen a few times, not the planning on hitting 50 in a weekend part, but the name part.

More common for me though, is thinking up the perfect name/concept at work, thinking about it off and on all day, only to finally come home and stare at it blankly in the creation screen only to decide on something else entirely.

What sounds good in my head, usually doesn't look so good in print or said aloud 8/10 times.

As as aside: My Earth/Storm Controller is named The Amazing Mountain. He's a sentient golem. Quite pleased when I got that name on Virtue of all places, yet looking at it here in print...

Kinda eerie how accurate that was for what we are quickly approaching now.
  24. I really only use Shockwave as mitigation and or for the 'fun factor' as stated by Kathari.

If I'm being swarmed and need just a tic longer for Energize to come back, Shockwave will buy you that time. If your being swarmed and need to kill as many as you can quickly... Use anything but.

Thanks to Kathari's advice, I spec'd out Shockwave with the Mocking Beratement Taunt set, instead of using a damage set. I was initially hesistant to lose the damage on it, since it's so lackluster to begin with.
Then I noticed how I actually don't even use it as a damage attack. Really only using it as a last resort or flashy finisher/ runner tag.

Eviscerate on the other hand, is one of my staple attacks, in between Spins.
