I'm disappointed. In that other thread, he gave MP a pic so big that it crashed my phone trying to load it, and I get this dinky little postage stamp?

Let's put it this way: right after I bought the Leprechaun I had a 3 hour ITF. Not so lucky...

But it is a perma 10% inf buff on all toons, so there you have it.

Oh, Mental. You sad, sad, sad person. Fight the man! They want your money! Stop giving in!

Oh, and I feel quite lied to. When will you stop lying to us all, MG? When?

Now, now, GP... I made that statement when I thought the Leprechaun was targetable and killable. When I found out he couldn't be touched it did change things.

I'm still the same MG everyone knows and loves. I still do not have the Coyote travel power!

They're satanically delicious!

I've seen a total of 1 of these little guys over the weekend.

My reaction?

After the intial confusion wore off, my head slowly shook back and forth in mourning. Not even worth the facepalm dawg.

I saw many more Leprechauns than I expected, so I started to ask people who had them what they thought, and the reactions were universally positive.

I stand by my purchase, but I have two complaints:

1. The toggle seems to come off very often, so I'm not getting my 10% as much as I should.

2. It gets old having him around... I'd like the bonus sans the pet.

So, so, so VERY true.

You but the ugly thing, you've got to live with it and yourself.

I'd try bugging that toggle thing (unless it's turning off from zone to zone and that's how it's supposed to work). You overspent on that thing, you might as well have overspent for a power that works well.

MG aside, I've seen a few of these things around and I honestly don't know why people have bought them. It's the cost of a new powerset (I still don't have Titan Weapons, though I'm thinking I didn't like it enough to actually buy it). 10% inf isn't that much, and for people that have been around as long as MG, I don't know how that drop in the bucket is possibly worth it. Inf from defeats is nice and all, but the big cash comes more from drops... and even with my luck with purples, I make a most of my cash from occasional good drops and a little crafting. Heck, I'd maybe use this thing some if it was free, but I really wouldn't worry about 10% that much.

I know you stand by your purchase, MG, but I'm not seeing the value you are.

the only annoyance i have with the power is that it detoggles on zoning

i also tend to forget to summon him since i am not used to using the vanity type pets, but the bonus inf is nice (more noticeable on high lvl toons though low lvl i notice almost no difference since inf amount is so low too)

I couldn't work in a place like that.

I would spend hours if not days, possibly weeks staring at the walls contemplating what circumstances and events took place for the formations of all that rock.

I would be mesmerized beyond all comprehension at the cosmic scale of all the forces that were taking place over the eons of where each individual atom came from, how it got there, all the solar activity, all the geothermal thermal activity, all the eddy currents and eventually the supernova that took place to form that huge chunk of rock.

Yeah I'd get fired the first day.

I gotta tell you though, there was something bugged in that ITF because that was just insane.

At least nobody quit and we ended up succeeding.

I purchased it too and agree with both these points.

What really bothered me is that on PB/WS it detoggles when you go into form, but they should have a workaround in place.

I understand it's because you cannot have any toggles, but seems a little unfair.

i think its mostly an oversight with the PB/WS forms since they allowed us to hit stuff like secondary mutation and mystic fortune from forms when they were previously disallowed, all they have to really do is allow the toggle to not grey out when the form is toggled (like an exception to what the form toggle affects)

Yeah, I'm sure it is.

I sent a petition from the Support site not as a complaint but kind of as a bug report.

I'll report after I hear from them.

EDIT: Just heard from a GM and he's scalating to a Senior Specialist. I should hear from them within 24 hours.

Some changes that apply to the Leprechaun in today's patch.

My Petition about the PB/WS issue was also sent to QA as a bug for further review.
