I'm ViP so I can't be sure if it works the same for Premiums but...
When Freedom launched I had a whole mess of tokens filling me up to tier 8 but I also had something like 3 tokens left to be placed manually.
Perhaps the friend without broadcast has an unspent token? -
No problem.
Also, check this thread out: PopMenu's and you
It sounds daunting at first but it really isn't. Not so much an issue at low levels with MM's but this is a godsend for high level MM's! I was able to free up 6 power slots in my trays thanks to this! Really cleaned up my screens. Kheldarn has made it even easier for MM's, once you have the popmenu.mnu created just download his menu's and there you go! -
This reminds me of the picture I have of the old Faultline gate and the construction sites that became the Universities. They probably just forgot to slap a building down when they removed it.
I'd rather them revamp Perez to put some life in the zone before giving us another way to get to a deserted place. -
I only use BG mode for one of my MM's.
I keep the Arsonist in defensive on my Thugs/Traps, keeps him from being as suicidal, he still is, just not as 'Gung Ho' about it.
I've never had a need for BG on my Necro/Dark, Ninja/Therm or my Bots/Storm...
Then again, I do keep my pets in passive and force them to all attack the same target most of the time, putting them back in passive afterwards.
I've tried using BG but always felt that it hurt more than it helped, at least in PvE, it could be of more benefit in PvP though.
I ran missions on each of my MM. first time through I'd use my normal passive/attack method. Second run through I'd try BG mode for all, 3rd run through I'd leave just the tier 1 on BG.
My conclusions were, BG slowed me down greatly, by having my pets stand and stare at mezzed individuals and such. The few times I was taking hits BG mode wouldn't have saved me anyways. I'd rather have the pets taking out targets as fast as possible, I'm a blaster at heart so I know when to retreat.
However, that testing night was when I discovered keeping Arsonist in BG actually kept him alive longer.
I personally haven't experimented with Protector Bots though, I can see the reasoning of course. I say give it a try!
That said, I don't Tankermind, so I'm sure those that use that style will come along and tell you their opinions. -
Precedent only means it wasn't noticed before now. Once it's in their face they have to act.
You could run a toon named Wolv3rin3 as a claws/regen with his exact outfit and catchphrases "Bub" for years and as long as you weren't reported by another player, or seen by a passing GM, you'd still have it.
You've managed to hide 'under the radar' for years, won't stop them once they know about it though. Not trying to rain on your parade. Just don't want you to get upset if the name is gen'd.
Did you try sending a tell or email to the supspicious new leader? I logged in an alt that hadn't been on in years the other month and to my shock I'd been promoted to SuperLeader of a rather large SG I didn't even remember joining. Still had a really nice base and things in storage, even though nobody had logged in forever. Guess it was the auto demote deal, me being the only currently active account and all.
I sent a tell to the former leader, I could tell because he shared the SG's name, telling him he could have control back free of charge if he wanted. Last week I got a tell from him asking for just that.
Perhaps the new leader was promoted by the demote thing being changed and just didn't realize he was messing things up, playing around with the editor or something. -

Not to mention, Stalkers are the only chance you will get to use Ninja/Ninjitsu (For now) so why pass up the chance? :P

As it should be when weighed against such other concerns.
Which anyone actually paying attention would know right off. This company has never 'passed the buck'. Not even when they could right after the Cryptic crew left. -
Truth be told, don't wake her as it's all a wash. With the amount of spiders that crawl all over us in our sleep on a nightly basis...
While the whole 'Eating 4 spiders in your sleep" deal is a myth, what isn't a myth is that we get invesitgated by house spiders almost nightly, only ever getting bitten if we move or roll on them.
Unless it's a venomous kind that is, then I wouldn't take the chance. (I'd also call an exterminator the next day.)
I almost have some weird fear of Karma concerning spiders, I don't kill them, I always try to rescue them and release outside. Unless they are really big and dangerous. This way my creepy crawly karma gets built up and I get left alone.
With it being 'clumsy' it's more than likely on it's last few hours and losing it's grip on the ceiling. I'd just hold a cup over it and then slide a piece of paper over the opening. -
Quote:This is what makes us truly unique in the world of MMO's. It was how I finally figured out how to 'Sell' my friends on the game.
The amount of personalization in this game is absolutely unrivaled.
The ones that refused to even try it because they aren't into comics and guys in tights. Don't like guys in tights? Simple, be a vampire or a robot or an alien or a rat or a turtle or a Ghost or a Gnome or a....
Their eyes kinda glaze over at the thought of it. They're all used to being treated like cattle on a one way track. Coming here truly is about
Freedom.
Freedom to be whatever you choose.
I no longer describe this game as a superhero one, or even a comic inspired one for that matter. When someone asks me or when I invite someone to play I tell them;
"It's your world, be what you want."
That is what makes us standout in a sea of cookie cutter games.
As for why people QQ about an obviously great game? Well, sadly, everyone has opinions. Right or wrong. For some people, complaining about everything makes their own real life issues take a backseat. It's a form of coping and stress relief. The same reason Jerry Springer was so popular. People like watching others suffer because it makes their own suffering less intense by proxy.
"Opinons are like _______. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks."
Fixt that for ya! -

PCSAR is still patrolling the zones, ensuring Hero safety and all that jazz!

You've just made me very happy! I've fallen in love with my new WM/Shield scrapper and earlier today I was remarking to a friend how cool it would be if I could have the ascendants shields.
Having never seen them in game except when running the Maestro AV, I didn't even think you could unlock them! This is wonderful news. -
Glad you had a good turnout!
By the by, just in case you don't know, you can remove the store and rewards button. Menu >Options>Prompts.
You can still quickly access both via Menu. -
One of these days, I might actually get around to doing this. I've flown over the Mothership, back when it was still the crash site. Don't think I've been back since...
To the actual ship mind you, I've been in RWZ of course. -
On the upside, it meant that when my friend saw my Bots MM and asked WTH?? I was able to reply with;
Oh, Masterminds, yeah they're an advanced class.

Except the best reason there is.
To have fun. -
Quote:2 things;"Suspected Fraud" alert.
This is a problem, it's not letting you take either my money or his money in order to gain him paragon points.
1. I understand why this frustrates you. Spent the last few days trying to get my friend some points, before giving up and just going to his house and using my own card on his account. It worked, but we live close to each other.
2. Even though it upsets you, this is actually NCSoft protecting you.
The security system they have in place, noticed that the card trying to be used across continents, was already 'in play' on your account.
This sends up red flags that someone may have stolen your card, account info, identity etc. Since they have no way to verify that you are you, on his account. It's flagged as possible fraud.
It may seem draconian, but how would you feel if your friend had stolen your card and tried to use it? Them preventing the transaction would have pleased you then. -
To add:
Any other Beam user in your team can also trigger the spread if they attack your disintegrating target. -
-
Welcome back!
I remember you from either the Kamen Rider threads or perhaps the Azure Watcher bio, it was very interesting. Shocked me that you let the name go. -
All these years later and I still can't stand the sound of Sonics...
Mind you, it's not bad enough to deny myself the benefit of having one on the team, just bad enough to prevent me from ever rolling one myself. -
Quote:Indeed.I'm finding its the other way around. Used to be 22 was when the engines got running, but with inherent fitness, the underground trial, the revamped Posi TF, and level 15 IOs, the tens are really enjoyable.
Life begins at level 12 for me these days.
Used to be pushing to 22 for Stamina and SO's, and a lesser degree, capes.
Now I'm good with DO's! I'm having more fun in the 12-20 range now than I have in literal years.
Altitis means I don't get to the 30's all that often. Out of the 150 some odd toons I have, I can count the ones past 38 on one hand.
Whats this? I must've missed a memo somewhere. -
The same thing will happen on live... Eventually.
Hopefully that'll be far off in the future. Still, knowing that there will be a time when 7+ years of creations will be lost forever isn't pleasant. Such is life though, digital or not.
