What do people do now for exp in this range? Still just tips group or is there something else i should be doing?

Plenty to do in that range. In addition to tips, there's the RWZ arcs, and a lot of fun older story arcs to run, plus the ITF.

Ah yea i forgot all about the ITF, are the roman costume pieces still unlockable?

Yep.

Plus, there's all the lower level SF/TFs... especially the WTF, which gives 5 bars of XP upon completion as well!

Yep, after your first run of the ITF, you unlock all the roman costume pieces. Which i think even includes the weapons and shields.

Just play. At 35, you'll get exp fast enough to push you right on up. Try joining the Weekly Task Force when it's in your level range, that's big exp.

Who do i talk to to start the weekly task force?

As for just playing, i just wanted to make sure im not missing something i should be doing rather then group grinding my way up an burning my self out on the character before i ever get close to 50.

The things i do on every character as quickly as they get access are:

Invention/AE tutorial. Its an easy badge, and lets me clear the contacts of my active list. Usually takes about 5 - 10 minutes for both)

Anything to unlock Ouroborus. There are plenty of missions/badges that unlock it, so i do my best to catch atleast one on my way to leveling.

Cimcity unlock. Available from level 20 or higher i think, this allows me to start the ITF once i ding 35 if i want to.

Vanguard introduction arc. I do this as soon as i can, so i can earn vanguard merits off any rikti kills i make afterwards. Plus it gives the vanguard gloves right away.

H side, i'll unlock my store origin contact, just because i run SOs till 47, I'll also do Ghost Falcon as soon as i can.

After that, i just hitch a ride on TFs, or run arcs i haven't ran in awhile, just to refresh myself on whats going on in the world.

The ending bonus is variable and based on the TF length. It can be from 1/3 to 1/2 a level.

All but one. In order to get the Nictus Sword you have to defeat Romulus 5 times. You can only defeat him 4 times in one run of the TF.

The developers have significantly increased the XP earnings level 35+... My advice is don't worry about getting stuck in a level range.

I thought the shield required 5 defeats as well, they may have changed it though. Been a while since I ran an ITF.

The Nictus shield requires defeating Nictus Romulus five times. The other shield available from the ITF (the Romulus Shield) only requires beating him once.

The other Roman shields (Roman, Engineer, Soldier, General) only require beating 100 Cimeroan Traitors. Which can easily be done during the ITF even if you didn't have any credit towards it before.
